The city of Briarton seems to be a cursed place, with crime rates that rank in the top 3 in the USA, and frequent natural disasters, and a lot of strange happenings. At least, that was until a small group of superheroes moved in, and were able to subvert all of the chaos. Other heroes flocked over, but not all of them were honest, some of them accepting their villainous nature, and others still using their heroic guise to commit crime.
Our characters are all the founding members, and it's our job to sort this mess out.

pretty much, yeah. basically there's different batches of main characters that all come together in the end, but it does have a central batch of main characters that are the primary focus of the story
