Hinata glanced at the newcomer, then leaned against the wall and sighed.
Hinata glanced at the newcomer, then leaned against the wall and sighed.
"So," he said, finally acknowledging the others in the room. "What do we do, now?"
Darian ran a hand through his white hair, slightly mussing it, "Does anyone have any idea why I am here?"
"I have no idea what we should do. And why the fuck would I know why you're here?" Hinata flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"And why the fuck would she care?" Teresa mimicked, arms crossed, leaning against the wall.
Hinata glared at Teresa.
"The tension in the room is killer," he said, a grin on his face. One thing he enjoyed was arguments.
Teresa smirked, eyes glinting.
Hinata rolled her eyes.
"No respect for elders."
"Why would I respect old grandmas?" Teresa asked, a grin on her face.
"Hey! Don't you dare touch me or you'll be stone-cold!" Mykala's threats were futile, as a blindfold was placed over her head. The same was with her twin sister, Arim, who, unlike her, was calm and quiet.
"Mykala, please make this easier for us and calm down. You know we'll get out of this together. Nothing has stopped us yet, so just be patient." And Mykala, although always impatient, always listened to her sister, so she set her jaw.
When they were taken in, Mykala was thrown in like a ragdoll, making her yelp. Arim was shoved in, but not as forcefully as her sister. Taking their blindfolds off, both gorgon sisters had their glasses on, and they were seperated by about eight feet.
(Shush I know Arim is a guy name but it sounded cool!)
"You insults leave something to be desired," Kaz pointed out unhelpfully.
"This room reeks of chemicals, No plant life whatsoever." Darian commented ignoring the simple youths, in his 3,024 years of life he had learned it's best to ignore the rude ones and just seduce them later, as always, magic triumphs over human frailty. He was slightly on edge, it had been years, hundreds of them in fact, sense humans hadn't fallen to his feet and worshiped the ground he walked on. Well, he thought, I've always enjoyed the challenge.
"It's an empty room," Teresa pointed out. "Of course there's no plant life."
Darian focused his on the girl who spoke His appearance automatically finding the image of her exact type and subtly beginning to shift his appearance. "My point is everything in this room is dead, there's no life except whatever was on the people shoved in here."
Teresa raised an eyebrow and rolled her eyes. "Why would there be plant life in here? There are no windows, one door, and crappy lighting."
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious. God, it reeks in here!" Mykala cringed. Arim only rolled her eyes.
"You're welcome," Teresa said dryly.
Hinata rolled her eyes, still leaning on the wall.
"I'm surrounded by idiots."
"You're missing the point, something caused every thing in here to die, but what, do you have any idea how unusual it is to not even have bacteria in a space this large? Not a single cell still functioning as it should, that doesn't just happen." Darian explained slightly aggravated.
Teresa grinned lazily. "Thanks, sweetie," she said to Hinata. She ignored the guy who had talked. How he looked made her slightly depressed, and brought back bad memories.
Rolling her eyes again, Hinata drew one of her swords and started cleaning him. It was an old habit.
Darian switched forms, he tossed his mane and curled upon the floor, unwilling to use any more energy on the younglings.
Luka had been meditating silently in a clearing. It all happened so suddenly. The creature had been settled silently down on his haunches, letting nature continue its course, when he just suddenly blacked out completely. That was not normal, he could usually sense what and when, the beasts of his home usually warning him of sudden danger…unless…
He opened his eyes, to only see he was in a massive cage of some sort. Around his throat, was a strange, metallic collar. Most likely something the humans, or whatever caught him, created to keep his magic still. Around his legs, were hobbles, most likely to keep him from lashing out with his hooves. His ears perked forward at the sound of voices. The cage he sat it in was backed up towards a large door. He struggled to stand, hooves clicking on the hard floor as pointed ends suddenly struck him through the cage. He bit back a smart remark, laying his ears back against the sides of his head.
The centaur-like being then hobbled out, looking around the room that was filled with several others. Luka's ears remained laid back, glancing back as the creak of metal clanged shut behind him. Ignoring the rest of the individuals, he moved to the best of his ability to a somewhat reclusive corner away from the rest.
"Filthy creatures," he muttered darkly under his breath, "They will regret what they have done to me."
He lifted a hand, rubbing at the collar around his throat. Luka was hating ever moment of this. He was completely powerless as long as this collar remained on, and the hobbles around his legs weren't helping…
Hinata looked up.
"Well, this is interesting."
Arim nodded, "That's agreeable." Her pale yellow snakes, meant to resemble blond hair, shifted around in curiosity, whilst Makala's dark brown snakes hissed in annoyance, her face matching the sound.
"I couldn't give a damn if Santa Claus came through that freaking door. How the hell do we get out?" Makala stood, being about 5' 2", and although short and stout, her temper could be through the roof.
Arim was the opposite. She kept her cool in stressful situations, standing at about 5' 6". Even though she could beat her twin up easily, she never did. It was pointless to her to fight unless it was a necessity.
Hinata decided that she liked Arim. She went back to cleaning her sword.
"What is this, some Hunger Games shit?" he asked, putting a hand on the hilt of his own sword.
Darian lifted his to look at the boy that swore and fixed him with his rainbow eye's, communicating as well as he could without words that he wouldn't hesitate to run him through with the white pearlescent horn the graced his forehead, but he would rather not.
"I'd love to see you try, pretty boy," Kaz said, grinning devilishly.
(First fight, anyone?)
