Basically, this one small town has a home school system where they're home schooled normally but meet in a "classroom" at the community center from 10 am to 1 pm every Friday. The group that they are in is the 14-18 age group. Since it is a small town, they do see eachother outside of the "classroom" occasionally.

Backstory: Her parents left her with her grandma when she was younger. Her grandma decided to home school her. More to be revealed.
Personality: Reckless, rash, loud, talkative, literally never shuts up, calls people too many nicknames, gets mad very quickly but also gets over it very quickly. Very friendly and outgoing, and quick to make friends and keep them. Loyal to her friends but pretends not to be. She is also extremely competitive and wants to win all the time.

Gender: Male
Looks: on the shorter side of shaggy, his hair is a messy mud brown and he has round hazel green eyes. He stands about 5'8" and is actually quite ripped (thanks to the jobs he does). lightly sun kissed with a warm undertone.
Clothing Style: usually seen in baggy sweaters and loose fitting jeans (they dont hang off his butt though) and simple blacked out converse
Backstory (optional): Both Jared and his older brother Kain (21) live on their own after their parents were in a car accident when they were little. because its been just him and his brother, they both have had jobs for a long time. Jared takes any job offered to him, most often it results in tough manual labor (hence why hes quite muscular).
Personality: a Class clown through and through! Jared enjoys bringing a smile to peoples faces, but he will never be mean or bully anyone. He will gladly stick up for the little guys and even embarrass himself to divert attention. Jared loves animals, but prefers dogs over all else. Even though he seems all smiles on the outside, its just a shield, hiding the fact that he struggles a lot with confidence and separation anxiety.
Hobbies: Jared enjoys working out, going to school, pranks, sleeping, food, and spending time at the local park (people watching, lying in the grass)
Talents: Jared has a very high pain tolerance, can chirp like a chick, and can climb like a monkey

Emylee looked at the Community Center. Her mom had just dropped her off. This would be her first time at any sort of "normal" school, and she was very nervous
Sacia finally made it to the Community Center, although it had taken a while. It wasn't like she disliked walking or anything –in fact, she enjoyed the exercise. It was just that she wished her grandmother wasn't blind as a bat and unable to drive anyone anywhere. Oh well, it wasn't like she could do anything about it. She hoisted her backpack higher up her back, cursed the fact that she was homeschooled, and made her way inside.
Emylee watched as a girl went inside and realized that she had been standing outside, staring, for the past 10 minutes. She quickly went inside.
Liza was glad that this year she would finally be going to a "real school". She hated being home-schooled because her home had troubles. Her dad was unable to drive her as always but she didn't care. She wasn't going to let him ruin her first day with some normalcy. What she was really ready for was friends. The people in her neighborhood weren't really around her age so she stayed inside almost 24/7.
Jared's alarm clock rang, threatening to wake even the dead. "aaaaahhhhhhhh…" he groaned, Jared reached over and slammed the top of his clock to turn it off. Barely lifting his face from the pillow he yawned and blinked a few times before plopping his face back down and falling right back to sleep. He continues to dream of pork sausages dancing the can-can and remaining blissfully unaware that he was going to be soooo late for his first day.
Liza took her first steps onto the new school campus. She took in the smell of newly bought school supplies and school hallways as she made her way down to her class.
