"What was that for!" Ryker said, jumping up and glaring slightly at her.
"What was that for!" Ryker said, jumping up and glaring slightly at her.
" No reason." She said shifting to stand next to him. "Are you hungry?"
He nodded "Yeah," Ryker grabbed his sword and put it on his back, yawning again.
Frost nodded "do you want to help catch some breakfast then?" She asked carefully
(Btw I think a slight romantic development would be a ton of fun)
(Sure!)
He nodded and walked towards the front of the cave "we have to be careful though, there are still competitors out there."
"I know" said frost as she shifted and padded out towards the entrance, pausing to see if Ryker would follow.
Ryker followed Frost slowly, glancing outside quickly before stopping next to Frost.
Frost glanced at Ryker, "It will be faster for us to get around if you ride," she said calmly
Ryker looked at her and sighed "This is very weird.." He said, stepping next to her and looking at her back.
"It's actually normal for true-bloods, and half-bloods do it too, maybe not on a regular basis, but it does happen." she said looking up at him.
"Still.." Ryker responded, swinging his leg over her back and sitting down carefully, his cheeks slightly red.
Frost shifted a little to settle his weight, "Dont be such a scaredy-pup!" she said mockingly, "I've had to carry my own father out of much more embarrassing situations!" She said as she started for the trees, at a walk so that Ryker could get used to her movement,
"It's just…weird.." he said, almost falling off when she started moving but quickly catching himself.
(Whoops, must've not seen this…)
Frost chuckled, "Lean forward and loosen up!" she said, before breaking into a run.
(its oke :D)
Ryker followed her instructions, yelping when she started to run "Geeze!"
Frost laughed as she adjusted her stride a little. After about 15 minutes she slowed and came to a stop, She sniffed the air her tail flicking about, then she crept towards a bush,
"Can I get off?" He whispered, watching the bush and glancing down at Frost.
"No" she hissed, Then she pounced catching a rabbit on the head with her paw she quickly dashed over to the next bush nabbing another in her jaws.
Ryker groaned and sat on her back, watching her catch the rabbits.
Frost dropped the second rabbit next to the first. "Now you can get off." She said.
"Thanks," He said, hopping off quickly "So, are we heading back now?"
"Why would we head back?" She asked shifting as she began to gut/skin the rabbits.
Ryker shrugged "I just feel to…vulnerable.." He watched her gut the rabbits and looked around.
Frost looked at him confused. "Well you're a weird one.." she said as she incinerated the guts and skins. "Would you mind finding some dry kindling?" She asked as she carefully incinerated a ring in the grass
"Sure, I'll be right back," He said quickly, rushing off and starting to pick up some small sticks.
Frost took care of some more of the joints and played out the strips of meat as she went. She also took out a small pouch and dusted the meat with the contents.
Ryker came back, a pile of sticks in his arms "Will these work?" he dumped the sticks on the ground next to her and smiled weakly.
"Perfect" she said quickly arranging them in a tepee like fashion and then lighting it with a small flicker of flames. She waited a few minutes for the flames to fully catch then she stuck the meat strips directly in the heart of the flames. (With her bare hands)
Ryker sat down next to Frost "Fire could draw attention.." He said quietly.
