Tyler sat in the middle of the kitchen floor with his legs spread out in front of him, waiting for Macha to come home which would be any minute.

Macha pushed open the front door. "I'm home!" she called out, voice laced with anxiety.

"You're home!!" Tyler yelled back happily, his face lighting up at her voice.

Macha flew towards the sound of his voice, looking around. "Tyler? where are you?"

(he's like a puppy)

"In the kitchen." He replied, laughing happily.

(adorable and something I'd 100% want in my house? someone to cuddle all day every day? agreed)

Macha ran in, pausing when she saw him on the floor. She crouched quickly, wrapping him up in her arms. "Did everything go okay? Are you alright?"

Tyler wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his lap (jesus), burying his face in her shoulder. "I missed youuuuu!"

(yes jesus)

Macha, very content in her perch, laughed and wrapped her arms around his torso. "I missed you too.. how was the day? Are you alright?"

"I'm perfect now that you're here." He grinned, pulling back and kissing her.

She laughed quietly, relaxing into the kiss. "I'm glad.."

"I've been sitting here..all..day.." He said, sighing a little.

“What? Why?” Macha pulled back, confusion and concern clouding her eyes.

"I don't remember." He laughed, kissing her cheek.

“Oh.” Macha leaned into him, quickly masking her concern. “Did you eat??”

"Maybe. I'm not hungry so I probably did." He replied. "How was your day?"

She sighed, nodded. “Excruciatingly slow. You?”

"Spent missing you. The whole day." He said, kissing her gently again.

“You too..” She closed her eyes. “I was so worried..”

“I’m fine Machaaa..” Tyler said, laughing a little. He picked her up suddenly and twirled her around. “But you’re home now so it’s all good again!”

She let out a surprised yelp, breaking out into helpless laughter. “Tyler!!”

“Macha!!” Tyler mimicked, laughing. He brought her over to the couch and laid down with her on his chest.

Macha let out an exuberant laugh, clinging to him tightly.
(G’morning, how’re you?)

(Good afternoon I’m good hbu?)

“I love you..” He murmured, kissing her sweetly as they lay there.

(not great tbh)

I love you too, she thought back, nuzzling him softly. "You're so warm…"

(Aw is there anything I can do?)

“I’m just really happy..” He said, pulling her closer.

(idk, don't think so)

"I'm happy too– without you, I don't think I'd have much purpose. I'd just be.. drifting. Alone. Thank you for everything you've given me."

(Okay..sorry about that. You can rant or talk if you need to.)

“I think it’s safe to say we’re both better off with each other.”

"Agreed." Macha let her eyes fall shut, humming quietly.
