You keep hurting everyone..Halo is dying and you can’t even be there for him.. He thought, gasping for air as sobs shook his body. He won’t talk to you if he finds out about Kris..you should’ve told him sooner..you’re making his life miserable.. Alto griped the side of the sink, trying to breathe, his chest tightened to the point where he couldn’t breathe. “Halo!” He choked out desperately.
Halo heard Alto cry out of him. He instantly pushed through his pain, pushed past the blankets and bolted for the bathroom. He slams the door open, his eyes wild and concerned. When he sees Alto he rushed to his brothers side. "Oh god, Alto. Are you okay?" He kneels next to Alto, taking his face into his hands. "Breathe. Focus on me. Breathe."
Alto collapsed into Halo’s arms, taking slow, shaking breaths. After a few minutes he was mostly back to normal and pulled away a little. “I’m sorry..I’m really sorry..I should..be there for you..and I’m not..” He said quietly, not meeting his brothers eyes.
Halo smiled weakly and softly. "Easy now… It's… It's okay. You have other things to take care of." He says gently, hauling his brother up. "Let's get to bed…" He says gently.
Alto helped Halo up and nodded a little. “You’re number one. And I’m staying home with you tomorrow.” He said as he lay down, wrapping his arms around Halo.
Halo smiles, "No, it's alright Alto. You need to go to school… You've missed enough because of me." He says gently, hugging him brother.
“No I’m staying home. End of conversation.” Alto smiled a little.
Halo smiled. "Who am I to stop you then?" He chuckles softly before resting against his brother.

Alto blinked awake to the sound of his alarm in the other room. He sat up and got out of bed, careful not to wake Halo. After he shut off the alarm he grabbed his phone and checked for texts from Kris, walking to the kitchen.
Hey love! Sleep well?
Halo slept peacefully, curling around his blanket.
Yeah. Not coming to school today though. I’m staying home with Halo. Sorry..
He responded, starting to make breakfast.
That's okay~ were you in trouble? I'm really sorry about that.
Halo slowly opened his eyes, grunting in pain and feeling nauseated for a moment. The feeling passed and he slowly sat up.
No it’s fine. Had a small panic attack though. But I Fine now, don’t worry.
Alto sighed and hummed a little while he cooked.
I'm glad you're okay, angel. Do you want me to get your homework from our teachers?
Halo walked out into the kitchen. "Well, this is a first…" He mutters softly.

Alto set his phone down and glared jokingly over at Halo. “Shut up I’m being nice. My alarm went off early so I was already up.”
No problemo!
"Heh. Thanks, bro." He hugs Alto gently, yawning softly.
"No problem." Alto smiled, squeezing his shoulder then nudging him towards the couch. "Go lay down, you shouldn't be up this early."
"Alright." He smiles before walking to the couch and settling down and relaxing as he sighs softly.
Alto finished breakfast and walked over to Halo. “It’s ready.”
Halo looks up and smiles. "Thanks Alto. You really didn't have to do this…"
“I do have to do this.” He smiled, helping Halo up.
"No, Alto." He laughs softly, standing slowly with his brother's help. "Thanks. It means a lot to me."
“It’s no problem, really.” He said quietly. “I owe you this much.”
Halo glanced at him. "Is something on your mind, Alto?" He asks gently.
Tell him about Kris.
“No.” Alto laughed a little. “No I’m fine..” He said quietly. “Actually..just eat..eat first.”
Halo nods, hugging his brother gently, before walking to the table and smiling before eating.
Alto ate a little, glancing up at Halo occasionally. It’s going to be fine. He reassured himself, sighing. It’s not even a big deal. You’re just overreacting.
Halo finished eating and sighs softly, "thank you." He leans back, "That was wonderful."
