Snow looks really fluffy and soft byt then you touch it and it gives you frostbite. Fun to play in when you’re dressed up, not fun when it’s uo to your waist.)

(I've completely forgotten Josh's brothers' names, so excuse me as I reinvent them. XD)

"Daniel, help me carry this box inside, please!" Joshua closed the car door with his knee, balancing a box of groceries in his arms.
"Okay!" A young boy of about 9 with dark, shaggy hair ran up to the car. Joshua passed the box to the boy before walking over to the trunk. "Jae! There are still more bags!"

"Coming!" A higher voice, cut through the air as a second boy ran out of a open doorway. This one was slightly taller, with huge glasses, and had a small limp in his step as he walked. The second boy helped Joshua pull out grocery bags, with Joshua carrying the most. With a swift movement of his arm, Joshua closed the trunk before herding the two boys in the direction of an open doorway, right beside the Ramen Shop. The doorway led up a flight of stairs to the family's house on the second story.

Sky giggled as she faked a sigh. "Okay… I guess so…" She said, taking his hand. They ventured to the closets and the bedrooms, but found nothing. "He has to be in the bathroom…" She trailed off, flicking on the lights and pulling back the shower curtain.

(I'm an impatient person. So here it is.)
Dani quickly grabbed her phone. "H–hey Josh? Where are you right now? I'm by your house." She tried masking the fear in her voice, to little avail.

Josh's phone started to buzz as he carried the groceries into the kitchen. "Give me just a minute, guys," he said to his brothers. Nodding, the two began to unload the groceries, stopping every now and then to ask the other if they remembered where a particular item was supposed to go. "Hello?"

Josh's eyes widened with surprise and he nearly cried. He hadn't spoken to his friends in so long. Choking back the tears, he spoke into the receiver. "Dani!? I'm home–hold on a sec. I'm coming down right now." Josh motioned for Jae, who ran quickly over, his slippers pattering across the floor. "A friends at the door. I may be out for a while. Ask mom for help if you need anything, okay?" Joshua hurriedly whispered the instructions to Jae. Slipping off his house slippers and pulling on sneakers, Joshua rushed down the stairs and flung open the door. Stepping out onto the street, he looked around for Dani. "Dani?"

Dani turned. "I'm right here Josh." She said, choking on her words. She gently pulled her hands out of Zanders'.

Josh spun around. "Oh my gosh, it's been forever–" Josh stopped, examining Dani's face for a second. "Dan…Are you okay?" Josh's eyes were filled with concern. He had an urge to pull her into a hug, but suppressed it, seeing as there was tall, intimidating looking guy with black hair standing just a few feet away, who looked like he would snap Josh in half if he so much as touched her. Must be another friend of hers.
