Blake screamed, "HE LAUGHED?!?!?!"

Bridget jumped at his friend's outburst but wrote her number down on a piece of paper with her company logo on the bottom right-hand side. It was the only kind of paper she had on her. "Here," she said, handing it to him.

"Thanks. Talk to you later?"

"That's what that's for." Bridget smiled.

"See you later then" he smiles back

Bridget turned and walked into her office. She got right to work, the rest of the building completely dark and empty.

Joseph messaged Bridget letting her know this was him

Her friends had returned her phone to her by putting it on her computer, so she smiled when it chimed.

Joseph waits for Bridget and is checking the story he was writing

“I know, I know,” Bridget was saying into her phone as she approached Joseph’s house. “Yes… The papers I left on my desk… Yes… Can you give them to Maya and tell her to scan them?… 200 copies minimum… Please get it done!” She hung up and sighed. No sooner had she done so when a different number called. “Hello, Ben. No, I left early… Yes, I put it on the schedule… Tell Janie to direct all of my calls to my office phone and hold them… Thank you… Yes, thank you… Bye.” She hung up just as she reached Joseph’s phone and slipped her phone in her bag.
