“Mmhm. It’s amazing. I can’t believe we found it,” Lilah declared, smiling as she glanced around one last time before opening the door. “You ready to go?”
“Mmhm. It’s amazing. I can’t believe we found it,” Lilah declared, smiling as she glanced around one last time before opening the door. “You ready to go?”
“I know. We need to get our hands on it now. Should we call?” He took out his phone.
“Oh, yes! Definitely. Let’s start home, though. You can call while I drive?” Lilah offered.
Cameron nodded as he dialed the number. “Sounds great!”
(I had to start a daily journal for my English class… Yeah. Wow. I wrote over a page about how scared I am to go to New York by myself…)
Lilah smiled and locked the house before turning to unlock the car. She set Tobias in his car seat before climbing into the driver’s seat and waiting for Cameron.
(Oh no, you’re going by yourself???)
Cameron shut the door and locked it as he tucked the phone up between his shoulder and face. He locked the key up again, hiding it and walking to the car as the seller amswered. He sat in the car, greeting them brightly.
(Hehe… Yeah… A chaperone is so much more money… And I’m kinda the only one that I know that wants to go.)
Lilah listened to Cameron’s side of the conversation as she started the car. She chewed on her lip nervously, backing out of the driveway and starting home again.
(;o; be careful!)
Cameron talked with the seller for a while, laughing softly every so often. He soon brought up the house, telling them that he and Lilah had really liked it.
Every once in a while, Lilah would glance over at him as she drove. Was it going well? It certainly sounded like it…
The seller and Cam talked about prices for a while. They eventually bargined a price and Cam was told the date they could move in.
They finally arrived back at the apartment, and Lilah parked before turning to Cameron. “Well?” she pushed excitedly. “What did they say?”
Cameron tucked the phone away into his pocket, smiling. “We can move in starting this Monday! After we pay the base payment, of course.”
“What? Cameron, that’s amazing! Ugh, you’re seriously the best, you know that?” Lilah exclaimed, unbuckling so that she could reach across and hug him tightly.
Cameron giggled softly and hugged her back. “Yes. I know.” He giggled again and kissed her cheek. “You are too.”
“That’s debatable, but I’m glad you think so,” Lilah said with a soft giggle, kissing him on the lips quickly. “C’mon, let’s go inside and celebrate!”
“It’s not debatable,” Cameron scoffed with an eyeroll. “You’re wonderful. And yes, celebration!”
“I you say so… Anyway, should we order a pizza?” Lilah asked, pulling away so she could get out of the car and grab Tobias.
Cameron rolled his eyes. “I know so. And pizza sounds good.”
“What should we get on it?” Lilah asked as she grabbed their son.
Tobias cooed softly as he was pulled from his sleep, fussing softly into her warm neck.
“What did you want on it?” Cameron asked gently, grinning at Tobias.
Lilah hummed, kissing Tobias’ head as she walked over to Cameron. “Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and extra cheese.”
Cameron chuckled softly and rolled his eyes. “You’re something, aren’tcha, dear?”
“What? Why do you say that?” Lilah wondered, her gaze shooting to him curiously.
Cameron strung an arm over her shoulders and looked down at her. “You know how much grease that’s going to be?”
(By the way, my dad orders about the same thing, lol, minus the sausage. It’s disgustingly greasy and not at all good 🤢 (i have the smell forever trapped in my nostrils))
(Lol. Maybe they just don’t have good sausage wherever you get pizza. Personally, I get a gluten free meat lovers with extra meat and no cheese. Because allergies…)
Lilah shrugged, leaning into him a bit. “It’s not that much… Not if we order from the right place.”
(Uuugh no it’s bacon, pepperoni and extra cheese. It’s awful.)
Cameron smiled and kissed her head. “Then how about you order it?”
(Oof. Dang.)
“M’kay… Fine… But you get to take Tobias while I’m on the phone, ‘kay?” Lilah said, returning the kiss with one to his cheek.
Cameron giggled softly and took her lips into a kiss as she pulled back. “Okay. I’ll take Tobs.”
Lilah grinned at the kiss. “Okay. Let’s head inside, then.”
Cameron nodded and led her into the building, humming happily. “Pizza. Any sodas?”
