Fae rested her head on his chest for a moment, breathing in his wet earthy scent. “I’m sorry for worrying you.”, she murmured .
"What's on your mind?" He spoke, his voice purring behind his ribcage.
Fear spiked in her and she pulled away, tears springing to her eyes. “I— I’m going to be different all day, I’m warning you from now.” She swallowed. Why did she have to start feeling now? Numbness was better, more peaceful. She rubbed her throbbing arm subconsciously.

His lips tugged a frown, "Take a breath.."
Fae took deep breaths, accidentally bumping her arm against the table. She winced, hoping he hadn’t noticed.

Fae’s eyes snapped upwards at this, filling with tears. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”, she whispered fearfully, her words overflowing with love and concern. You made him upset Fae, stupid Fae. You know how much you mean to him, you have to keep him happy!
