Cameron smiled and gently kissed her in return. “Thank you, Lilah.”
Cameron smiled and gently kissed her in return. “Thank you, Lilah.”
"You're welcome, Cameron," Lilah said softly, curling up back into him. "I wonder if our next child would be a boy or a girl… It might be cute for Tobias to have a baby sister."
Cameron smiled dorkily and wrapped his arms around her. “I’m not sure. A cute little girl would be nice.”
"Hm, yeah… It would be," Lilah hummed as she returned the embrace. "Baby Rose…"
Cameron tilted his head into her neck, sighing happily in content. “Little Rose.”
"I'd like to move before we have another baby, though… I'm not sirenian we have room for another here. Unless we put her crib in here until she's old enough that she's sleeping through the night. The she and Tobias could share a room until we moved," Lilah mused softly, the prospect sounding like a fairly good idea.
Cameron glanced up at her again, raising his eyebrows. “Isn’t it cheaper to wait? Of course, if you don’t want to. It’s up to you, ultimately.”
Lilah blinked and looked at him. "Cheaper? Why would it be cheaper?" she wondered.
“Yea, cus we’d need to have the money we’d spend on another crib and clothes for the baby on the house. And we’d have that extra room for her already, instead of decorating it once we got there.”
"Oh. Yeah, I suppose you're right… Hm, okay, then… I guess we can wait," Lilah said softly.
Cameron hugged her tighter, kissing her forehead gently. “I bet it won’t take too long to find another house.”
Lilah smiled at him softly. "I'm sure it won't, too. Plus, Tobias is still a baby, and he's plenty enough."
Cameron chuckled softly and nodded. “We can’t wait too long, though.”
"We won't," Lilah assured him with a soft giggle. "Maybe we could start on that when we're sure we have a new house."
Cameron nodded, yawning. “Maybe we can get started on some sleep.”
Lilah hummed her agreement and nuzzled him gently. "Sleep is good. I like sleep."
Cameron nodded happily and relaxed into her. “I like it too.”
“Nap time for everyone, I guess,” Lilah chuckled sleepily.
Cameron smiled faintly as he dozed off, humming softly. “Nap time…”
(Skip?)
(Sure. To when?)
(Hm… House hunting?)
(Sureeee)
(Lol. Okay.)
“What do you think about this one?” Lilah asked, showing Cameron a two-story house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Cameron rubbed the side of his unshaven face, frowning slightly. “Hmmm… how many square feet?”
Lilah clicked her tongue and looked over the page again. “Um… Twenty-five hundred square feet?”
“We’ll have to call the bank about that one,” Cameron sighed deeply as he checked over the numbers.
“Yeah… It’s one of the better ones, though. It might be worth it,” Lilah mused.
Cameron nodded a little, rubbing his nose. “I could write that one down, too.”
“I think that would be good,” Lilah sighed as she looked over the screen again.
