"Are you going to let me pay this time?" Blaine asked Andion with a teasing smile.
"Are you going to let me pay this time?" Blaine asked Andion with a teasing smile.
“Hm…” Andion grinned, “Nope, not a chance.”
Blaine pouted playfully and moved to his front, placing her hands on his shoulders. "Aw, how come? You know I have no problem with it."
“I know you don’t,” Andion replied, “But that doesn’t mean I don’t have a problem with it.”
Blaine crinkled her nose before reaching up to peck his lips softly. "All right, fine… As long as I can repay you somehow."
Andion grinned, “I know something…” He muttered, dragging his lips across her neck lightly.
Blaine momentarily closed her eyes, letting out a slow breath. "Oh? And what would that be?" she murmured under her breath.
"Hm, you'll have to wait and see." He kissed right under her ear before the girl came back, holding a plastic bag with some sandwiches inside. Andion walked over and quickly handed her the required amount and took the bag from her, "Let's go love."
Blaine huffed a little when he pulled away, rubbing her neck where he'd kissed her. It still tingled where his lips met her skin…
"I'm coming, I'm coming," she sighed, shaking her head.
Andion let out a little giggle, "We'll have to eat on the boat, we're already running late."
"I figured as much… Let's hope I don't get seasick," Blaine mused as they started toward the docks.
"You'll be fine, the waters should be pretty calm but you never know with the ocean. The waters to Maradova are generally calm all year round, though."
Blaine hummed, nodding slowly. “All right. I’m sure I’ll be fine, anyway.”
"You got me there, of course you will be." Andion teased.
“What, do you doubt me?” Blaine questioned, turning to purse her lips at him playfully.
"Of course not!" Andion replied, sending her a wink. The boat came into view then. It was fairly large and crew members were hauling crates filled with trading items onto the deck. A couple other people were boarding the boat but it wasn't many.
Blaine snorted and rolled her eyes, shaking her head with a smile. "You're lucky you're cute," she teased, squeezing his hand.
Andion giggled a little, "I know." He squeezed her hand back before rifling through his bag for their boarding papers. He handed them to the captain and he let them on.
Blaine sighed and glanced around the ship when they boarded. “So… We have cabins, right? Or at least a cabin?”
Andion nodded and led them bellow deck. On one side was storage space, and on the other were rows of cabins for different guests and crew members, "We have one down the end."
"Sounds good," Blaine hummed as she followed him down. When they reached their room, she stepped inside and set her things down, glancing around to take in her surroundings.
The room was fairly small. There was a double bed that took up most of the room, a small chest of drawer filled with some spare clothes of different sizes. There looked to be a tiny bathroom off to the side and a mirror on the opposite wall.
Blaine hummed in approval. It was small, but that was to be expected. In fact, she was actually rather pleased with the bathroom; she hadn't expected that.
"Nice room… Should we rest for a bit or go look around up top?" she wondered, turning back to Andion.
Andion shrugged a shoulder, throwing their bag on the bed, "I don't mind. Let's go look around, maybe they'll be other people traveling we can talk to on board already."
"Sounds good to me," Blaine said with a smile as she stepped back out of the room.
Andion led them up onto the deck and by now it looked like they were about to leave the dock. There was a family near the bow of the deck, a couple next to them and a man around their age on the starboard side.
“I’m terrible in social situations,” Blaine muttered as she glanced around. “I’m better at seducing, getting information, and then killing…”
Andion chuckled, "Let's go to the family, I wanna meet the kids." He looked over to the family where there was a teenage boy and a six year old girl standing next to their parents.
Blaine looked over at them with a wistful smile. What would it be like to have a family like that? To have people there for you always?
"Sure. Let's go meet them," she agrees softly.
As they drew closer, the family seemed to notice their presence and the parents turned around, "Hello there! Who might you two be?" The mother asked, looking to Blaine as Andion already was chatting with the kids, mainly the little girl.
