"Hey, Grayson…" she replied hoarsely.
"Hey, Grayson…" she replied hoarsely.
Grayson hugged her gently. “Please tell me what’s wrong..”
"I don't know," she murmured. "My stomach hurts a lot."
“Do you think it’s something with the stone?”
"I don't know," she whispered.
“Should we go to the surface?”
"No," she replied. There was a sudden sharp pain in her stomach and she flinched in to protect it. The rock, still in her hand, brushed against her stomach, and the pain went away quickly.
Grayson looked down at her. “It helped?”
Moxiey nodded. "I remember where I saw it before… It was my mother's."
“Oh..what does it do?” He asked.
"It… It heals the unhealable. It…" she hesitated, as if remembering something long ago.
“Unhealable?” He asked quietly.
Moxiey nodded. Something hit her and her eyes widened. "It's the key Diara was looking for!"
“Is that why she took you prisoner?”
Moxiey nodded, suddenly eager to get up. "I have to find Diara!"
“Wait Moxiey, no. You’re hurt..”
"No, I'm not!" she protested.
"You just passed out! You can't just go looking for Diara!"
"I can and I will," Moxiey replied.
Brenna left the entrance and swam over. "What's going on? Moxiey- What?"
"Moxiey no! Let me!" He protested, taking her hand.
"No! I have to go!" Moxiey begged.
"And how am I supposed to know you won't pass out again?!" He argued.
"I have this," Moxiey said, holding up the rock.
“And if Diara gets it?”
“She won’t,” Moxiey replied firmly.
"How do you know?" He asked.
“She doesn’t,” Brenna said flatly.
"Exactly. I don't want to risk you getting hurt again."
“The stone will heal me,” Moxiey retorted.
"And what if you lose the stone?" He shook his head a little.
