Fox glanced up at the sky as he sat on the edge of the water fountain in the middle of the campus grounds. He had a book and a notebook in his lap, with a pencil resting on top of them, since he was trying to finish his assignments. It was going pretty well, but he was stuck on a problem and really just wanted to go home and sleep.
Caspian stretched his shoulders, taking a stroll around campus to ease his nerves. The sun was warm on his back, cheering him up considerably as he spotted Fox, sitting on the fountain. He raised a hand in greeting, but really expecting to get a wave back.
Fox lowered his head just in time to see Caspian wave at him. He smiled over at him and waved back cheerily.
Caspian blinked, surprise. A slow smile made its way across his face, and he crossed the courtyard to him.
Fox closed his books and set them aside, careful to make sure they wouldn’t get wet. He stood to greet Caspian, still smiling.
“Hey,” Caspian greeted, slipping his thumbs into the front pockets of his dark-wash jeans. “Hey, Fox. How are you?”
“I’m doing pretty well, thanks,” Fox answered, sticking his hands in his back pockets. “You?”

Fox was waiting for Kiera by the fountain. He was taking her to a party at one of his friends’ houses, and he had invited Caspian as well.

Caspian jogged across campus, unsure why he was nervous all of a sudden. It was just a party, after all.. He spotted Fox at the fountain, making his way over.

Fox saw Caspian making his way over and raised a hand in greeting.
Kiera smiled as Fox and Caspian waved at each other. "You guys seem to get along pretty well." She stated.
