Barry tugged her closer, cradling the back of her head with one hand. "I love you.."
Barry tugged her closer, cradling the back of her head with one hand. "I love you.."
“I love you, too…” Kasey murmured before pulling back and making a face, though her eyes were glittering with a teasing light. “But you taste like morning breath, hun.”
Barry shoved her shoulders lightly, giving her a mock pout. "Very funny, babe. Ha ha."
Kasey chuckled and pecked him quickly. “I’m being serious, actually. Don’t worry, babe. I’m sure it’ll be better after we eat.”
Barry continued to pout, pulling away slightly. “Mean.”
(Woah… There’s a “Delete Topic” button!!!)
“Hey, you started this. If you hadn’t decided to tease me, I wouldn’t have said anything,” Kasey said with a smirk as she spun around in his arm to face the stove again.
(G’morning!)
(For entire threads?)
“Rude,” he said jokingly, sticking his tongue out at her before taking the bacon off the stove.
(Morning! How’re you?
For ones that you’ve created, yeah!)
Kasey chuckled again and finished the eggs. She grabbed two plates from a cupboard and set two of the eggs on one and three on the other. “All right, eggs are ready!”
(Oh cool
I’m good, slightly stressed, a guy asked me out and I sort of panicked because I didn’t know how to say no without sounding rude. You?)
Barry loaded the plates with bacon, turning to the sink to wash his hands. He grabbed two mugs, calling over his shoulder. “Coffee or tea?”
(Oh, wow… But, hey, at least you’ve been asked out! I’ve only been checked out… By some guy who was drinking… And my friend is the one who noticed. Lol.
I’m good! Somewhat excited for later because I’m going shopping for an outfit to take pictures in.)
“Oh, coffee. Definitely coffee,” Kasey laughed lightly as she grabbed the plates and brought them over to the table. “Should we sit across from each other or next to each other?”
(Oh oof)
(Cool have fun!)
Barry came back to the table with two mugs of steaming coffee. “Next to. I want to have access to your hand.”
(Yeah… At least he wasn’t older… Some older guy hit on me at work once… That was awkward…)
“All right, sounds good,” Kasey said with a grin as she set the plates down. She kissed Barry’s cheek before taking the seat on the right. “Thanks for the coffee, babe.”
(Ugh god that sounds awful, sorry)
“No problem,” he smiled, taking a seat. He picked up his fork. “Oh yum, this looks good.”
(Yeah… I kinda just pretended nothing happened…)
“It’s nothing fancy,” Kasey chuckled as she started eating. “Plus, you made more food than I did.”
)):
Barry shrugged, lifting a forkful of bacon and eggs to his mouth. “So? Simple is good. Simple is delicious.”
(Yeah, it was weird. But now it’s whatever.)
Kasey grinned at him. “I guess that’s true…”
(oof ):
Barry decided to take another stab at flirting, just as he made a second stab at his egg with his fork. "Only sometimes, though. For example, you're delicious, but you're nowhere near simple."
Kasey blinked at him a few times, frozen in how flustered she was. Why did he have to say such things? It only caused her to blush and stutter and be at a loss for words.
Barry chuckled, squeezing her hand. “I’m kidding. Well, I’m not. I’m teasing. Sorry.”
“Yeah, yeah… I— I know you are,” Kasey stuttered, her cheeks still tinged pink.
Barry wolfed down the last of his egg, grinning contentedly. He leaned back in his seat, glancing over at Kasey.
When Kasey finished her food, she glanced up at Barry. Seeing him looking at her, she gave him a small smile.
“So… I have to work in a bit, but I think we have time to do something quick if you want,” she said with a shrug.
Barry glanced up at the clock, his smile deflating a tiny bit. "Oh… crap, I promised Caleb I'd help him study. It's okay, I'll go and tell him I can't, give me a second."
“Oh, no, Barry. You go help him. I’ll get ready for work. You could come by later, though, if you want to. I finish at three,” Kasey said as she stood as well.
"For sure," he replied, smiling and leaning in for a kiss. "No morning breath this time," he teased, pulling away and quickly clearing the table.
Kasey chuckled and shook her head. "Nope. Just bacon and eggs. You don't have to do that, babe. I've got time to clean before I leave."
Barry shook his head, rinsing the plates before depositing them in the dishwasher. "It's fine, don't worry about it."
"You're too helpful," Kasey joked, walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him.
Barry sank into the embrace, slinging his arms loosely around her waist. "And you're warm…"
"Hm, so're you," Kasey hummed, smiling as she rested her forehead on his chest.
