"That is the problem." Asoka began carefully.
"Nathair." Cameron said in a quiet but angry voice.
Asoka nodded. "Yes, unfortunately he's back. And he wants revenge."

“Um… Who’s Nathair?” Madeline asked, finally speaking up.

"He's a…….well he's kind of like the big bad guy who always seems to survive whatever happens and he really wants revenge and wants to fill this world with despair and darkness and stuff…" Cameron explained.

“So he’s basically the White Witch of this world?” Madeline guessed.

"Yup." Cameron answered.

Madeline nodded slowly. “Good to know. I’ll remember not to be taking any Turkish delight from him.”

Cameron laughed. "Good idea." He said as he watched Kiera walk off down another path.

“So… What, exactly, is going on, then?” Madeline asked softly.

"We don't know, exactly." Asoka admitted.

“But this guy, Nathair, took our friends?”

"Yes."

“Does anyone know where? Or why?” Madeline wondered.

"No. But we have people working on that as we speak. In fact Kiera just went to help them." Asoka replied.

Madeline hummed in acknowledgement. “That’s good…”

Cameron nodded. "So why do you need us here?"
"That is for you to find out, child." Asoka said mysteriously. "Why don't you introduce Madeline to the Hollow?"
"Good idea Asoka."

“What’s the Hollow?” Madeline asked, turning back to Cameron.

"Our home." Cameron stated simply, leading her down a path.

“Our? Who does ‘our’ entail?” Madeline wondered.

"Well, a lot of us. The whole group, and others that you'll meet."

“The whole group? You’ve all been hiding this from me?” Madeline asked, her eyebrows scrunching together.

Cameron inhaled sharply. "Uh…"

Madeline nodded slowly. "Okay. Sure. I'm taking that as a 'yes'…"

Cameron stammered, making some half hearted reasons why they hadn't told her.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it, Cam,” Madeline said, waving it off.

"Are you…Are you sure?" Cameron asked. "Cause I'm not sure if you're saying it's fine because it is or because you're mad at me and you can't say anything else."

Madeline blinked and chewed on her lip, not meeting his eye. “It’s fine,” she mumbled again.

Cameron sighed. "Look, I don't….remember how this all started, exactly. But Asoka will probably explain everything. My mind is kind of foggy regarding this whole thing. Which is weird, because it's usually the clearest thing in my mind."

Madeline sighed, nodding slowly. “Okay… Should we get going, then?” she asked quietly.
