(I’m extremely annoying)
(Ugh……………………
Fine.
You’re not annoying, though.)
“Cameron, what’s finished?” Lilah wondered, stepping into the kitchen. “I’m hungry.”
(Lol I feel annoying)
Cameron was gently setting strips of bacon on a towled plate next to a bowl of applesauce.
“Our applesauce and bacon, and I’m doing pancakes now.”
(You’re not, really. I was just tired. lol.)
“Hm, okay… I’m just gonna… take this then,” Lilah chuckled, grabbing a piece of bacon and kissing his cheek.
Cameron grinned and took the strip back. “Noo, it needs to get the grease off. I’ll serve them right with the pancakes.”
“But I want it now,” Lilah whined playfully, grinning at him as she reached to take a different piece.
Cameron nosed her away from the bacon, smiling as he set both pieces back. “Noo. Go be amazing somewhere else.” He kissed her nose.
Lilah giggled a bit, shaking her head. “For one, I’m not amazing. And two, I’m hungry. And I want bacon.”
Cameron rolled his eyes. “You are amazing. And you’ll wait.”
“You’re more amazing. And I’m hungry,” Lilah chuckled. “C’mon, babe… Just one piece? Please?”
“You’re the most amazing. And no, you’ve gotta wait.”
“You are infinitely amazing,” Lilah argued, grinning as she stepped up behind him and rested her chin on his shoulder. “And it’s just one piece…”
Cameron turned his head over his shoulder and stuck out his tongue. “That's a lie. And one piece will turn into all of them.”
“No, it’s not! You’re the best. And it will not turn into all of them,” Lilah defended herself, nuzzling his cheek.
Cameron rolled his eyes and nudged her off. “Gooo. Go keep an eye on Tobias, dear.”
Lilah crinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out at him playfully. “He’s fi—“ her words were cut off by a cry coming from the nursery, and she sighed and pulled away from Cameron. “Okay… I’m going…” she said with a small smirk as she snatched a piece of bacon and hurried away with a giggle.
Cameron gasped lightly and pulled her back by the back of her shirt, laughing. “You think you’re so clever, huh?” He took back the piece of bacon swiftly, booping her nose.
“Hey!” Lilah laughed, reaching for it again. “C’mon, please? I promise I’ll let you finish if you give me just one piece!”
Cameron grinned and set down the piece. “Nope! I won’t let you have any if you keep this up.”
“Well, that’s not fair,” Lilah pouted, sticking her bottom lip out and widening her eyes in a puppy dog look.
Cameron rolled his eyes. “It is too fair and we both know it.”
Lilah sighed. “Okay, okay… I’ll really go this time. But you have to let go of my shirt, babe.”
Cameron gently let go of her shirt, smiling. “There you are. Love you.”
“Love you, too, Cam,” Lilah chuckled, kissing his cheek gently before she started toward the nursery.
Cameron rolled his eyes and turned back to the breakfast, sneaking a bite of bacon. He smiled to himself as he cooked, humming softly.
(Lilah: Hypocrite…)
Tobias was still crying when Lilah reached the room. She smiled at him as she picked him up and kissed his nose, earning a smile from the baby.
“Hey, Tobs… How was your sleep? Good? Well, that’s good,” she babbled to her son before checking his diaper. With a sigh, she noticed it was dirty, so she changed it. As soon as she was done and had washed her hands, she picked him up and headed back out to the kitchen.
(Cameron: laughs softly I am the cook.)
Tobias quieted down once his diaper was changed and he wiggled into her neck, resting his chin on her shoulder. He giggled softly for absolutely no reason.
Cameron glanced over his shoulder at Lilah as she entered, pawing a smidge of grease off of his chin.
“Morning Tobias!” He hummed happily, smiling at the smol.
Lilah smiled at Cameron and kissed the top of Tobias' head, leaning against the counter. "You almost done, Cam?" she asked, peppering their son's face with kisses.
