Macha broke down completely, tears streaming down her cheeks. Tyler– oh god, Tyler– He wanted to marry her. Spend the rest of his life with her. Her hands were clasped over her mouth, her eyes unbelievably wide, like two silver moons. "Of course–" she managed, kneeling down to throw her arms around him. "Of course I do– Of course–"

Tyler hugged her tight and buried his face in her shoulder, laughing. “Good, good..I love you..” He said quietly, pulling away so he could slip the ring on her finger, tears running down his face.
(IS SCREAMING)
Macha crushed her mouth against his, her whole body wracked in sobs– she had never cried tears this happy before in her life. "Tyler–" She wrapped her arms around him, her hands trembling. "Thank you– thank you so much–"
(this is such an important moment for her– she's lived her whole life believing that o one would ever want her, even after she started dating Tyler, she was so afraid of pushing him away, but now he's asking to marry her and omfg asdfghjkl)

Tyler held her as close to him as he could, knowing they were safe, that Macha was safe. Everything was going how it should be. Everything was okay. “We’re going to be okay Macha.. We’re going to have an amazing life together..” He said quietly.

"We already are," she promised him, her voice choked with emotion. Her Tyler.. her fiancé. "I'd be convinced this was a dream…. but all my dreams are terrifying. This? This is the best thing– this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me."

Tyler pulled away so he could look at her, gazing into her beautiful, sparkling eyes. "And you're the best thing that's ever happened to me..I'm still amazed that I get to wake up next to you every morning and fall asleep with you in my arms every night. I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for you…You rescued me Macha.." He said, resting his forehead against hers gently.

Macha choked on whatever she was going to say next, gluing her eyes to his blessedly welcoming ones. Desperate to convey her meaning, she took hold of his hand and placed it against her chest, directly over her pounding heart.

Tyler smiled and nodded a little as Argos bounded over and plopped himself down onto Macha's lap, licking the tears off her face. Tyler laughed a little, squeezing her hand. "I love you.."

"My boys," she said, her voice breaking on the last word as she clutched both Argos and Tyler's hand to her chest. "God, I'm such a wreck–"

Tyler laughed and kissed her softly. "We're both wrecks. Argos is the only mentally stable one here."

Macha burst out laughing, trying and failing to stop the flow of tears. Argos leapt up, confused on what on earth could be happening but ready to party nonetheless. She looked down at the ring on her finger and broke down again. "I'm going to get married— to you—–"
(sobs hysterically)
"Yeah…yeah, and I'm getting married, to you." He grinned, helping her to her feet. "Let's go home before you get too emotional to walk."
(this is a much happier ending/beginning/story for Macha then in my book…..)
Macha laughed weakly, trying to stand without falling, and promptly failing. "Could my– could my husband-to-be- help me up?"
(oooooooooofff BUT THIS IS NOT THE END)
"Of course." He laughed a little, putting his arm around her so she wouldn't fall and walking slowly back to their house with Argos trotting happily beside her.

"I love you… I love you, I love you, I love you.." was all Macha could say as they made their way back home, dusk settling over the neighbourhood like a diaphanous cloak.

Tyler laughed happily and set her down on the couch when they got inside. He took Argos’s leash off and then lays down, reaching out for Macha.

Macha melted into the embrace, beaming so wide she thought her face would crack open. Tears still wet her cheeks, but she just cuddled into Tyler, unable to speak from sheer joy.

Tyler smiled and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead gently. Argos settled himself next to them on the couch, closing his small eyes. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this happy..” Tyler murmured quietly.

“I don’t think I have ever been this happy,” Macha confessed, pressing closer to his warmth. “We’re getting married.”

Tyler laughed a little, burying his face in her hair. “We are…it’s crazy..” He said.
(Scared for Tyler, but other than that I’m meh.. exhausted completely. And I have a concert tonight. And a piano exam. And of course, school exams.)
“I still can’t quite believe this…” She grinned, burying her face in his chest in turn. “Suddenly, I’m glad I can’t blush.”

Macha’s heart just about melted. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out but a tiny squeal,
Tyler frowned a little and pulled away so he could look at her. "What was that?" He laughed, kissing her nose.
Macha clamped her mouth shut to prevent any other embarrassing sounds from coming out. She was smiling widely, though, holding onto her fiancé tightly.
Tyler took Macha's hand away from her mouth, leaning forward to kiss her gently. "You're cute." He smiled.
Macha squeaked and his her face again. Her heart pounded in her chest. “Tyler!”
"Whaattt? I love youuu." He grinned, looking down at her happily.
Macha peaked at him through her fingers, and her heart faltered at the sight of his smile, that smile. "I– I love you too–"
