Tyler gazed down at the ring in his hand in disbelief. I'm actually going to do this.. He thought, smiling up at the person at the counter and paying for the ring. He slipped the small box into his pocket and walked out of the store, looking around.

Back at home, Macha frowned slightly, feeling a giddy wave of nervousness coming off of Tyler, even from a distance. Tyler? You good?

Great actually, except I might be a while cause I kind of forgot how to get home. He thought, laughing a little to himself and started to walk in a direction that seemed familiar.

No I’ll be fine. I’ll call you if I get seriously lost. He thought, making his way around before finding his way back home.

Fine… Macha bit her lip, scratching behind Argos's ear as she waited for her boyfriend to come home. Lately, whenever she was alone, it had struck her how incredibly dependant she was on him being there. Not even doing anything, just.. silent support. An assurance that she was not all by herself anymore. She didn't know what she would do without him.

Tyler burst through the door minutes later and ran upstairs, hiding the ring, then running back downstairs and draping himself over Macha. “I’m home!”

Macha's face broke open into a huge grin. She craned her head, beaming up at him and snuggling into his warmth. "I missed you!"

“I missed you too.” He grinned, laying down next to her and kissing her cheek. “Even though I was only gone for an hour.”

Macha rolled over on her side, curling into Tyler. "Time is relative," she mumbled, kissing him firmly on the mouth. "To me, it might as well have been months. That's how much I love you."

Tyler grinned and glanced outside. “Hey, we should take Argos for a walk.” He suggested, getting an excited response from the dog.

“Bout six.” Tyler said, grinning madly. “Just give me a second, I think my coats upstairs.” He said, running upstairs and grabbing the ring then going back down, laughing to himself. “I’m wearing it, I forgot.”

Macha let out a soft laugh of her own. "What are you so excited about? We walk Argos every day, silly." She took him by the front of his coat, pulling him to her in a soft, affectionate kiss. "Come on, I want to see the sunset."

Tyler shrugged, taking her hand as they walked outside toward the lake. “Im just happy.”

They reached the lake a couple minutes later and let Argos run around a little. Tyler waited until Macha was facing away from him to bend down like he was tying his shoe, looking up a second later with the ring in his hand. “Hey Macha..turn around a minute..” He said quietly.

Macha's forehead creased with concern when his voice hit her ears, all soft and quiet. She turned around to face him, shaking her hair out of her eyes. "Tyler? Is something wro—-" She stopped dead. Everything around her slowed. Oh my god.

Tyler smiled softly up at her. “I’m not..uh..well I’m not going to make this long..but I want to spend the rest of my life with you and every second I spend a part from you is so hard because I love you so, so much.” He cleared his throat. “So I was, wondering, if maybe you wanted to marry me?”
