August's face fell a little. "It's okay", he said. Which was sort of a lie. Sort of

Jessica looked at August ¨I wish I could but I´m super busy¨ she said.

"I guess it can't be helped.", he shrugged his shoulders and pretended to to mind.
"Sorry, I've got to go for now. Nice talking with you, Jess.", Wren said and turned around.

Jessica smiled as she turned around to make her way back to her friends.

August didn't know wether to follow her or not. So naturally he did.

Her friend Anna shooke her head ¨Running off with mysterious boys in the night again are we¨ she teased

"Mysterious boys?… again?"

jessica glared at anna¨I was a rebel in highschool¨ she said.

August didn't really mind. "I'm not just any mysterious boy, I'm the mysterious boy.", he joked, but he hoped he was right.

Jessica kissed his cheek¨ You sure are¨.

He kissed her forehead and hugged her. "And you're my mysterious girl."

Jessica bit her lip as her cheeks flushed pink,

"Y'know it's about time we went on a date…"

¨really¨ she asked.

"Of course. Why don't I take you somewhere nice?", he said.

Jessica hugged August ¨Oh August I love you¨ she said.

Now it was August's turn to blush. He hugged her back. "I love you too. Where do you want to go?"

Jessica shrugged ¨ as long as I´m with you¨ she said.

He held her tight. "I hope you always will be… What about Distil?" Distil was the new fancy restaurant near them.

Jessica nodded her head as she snuggked up to August.

"And then I'll take you to my apartment…"

Jessica clossed her eyes. ¨Okay¨ she said.

August almost forgot about her friends. He quickly shied away a bit.

Jessica faced Anna and Derek and smiled.

August awkwardly smiled at them.

¨C´mon ¨ Anna said and dragged derek away.

August and Jess were alone again. "So… when should I pick you up?"

¨7:30¨ she said with a smile.

"Okay!", August said. "I'll see you then."

Jessica kissed his cheek. ¨okay¨ she said.
