Lilah smiled and nodded her agreement. “Yeah, he does. He also seems to find his voice more and more everyday,” she chuckled.

Cameron sat down slowly on the floor, resting his chin on the armrest. “I wish we got two rocking chairs,” He whispered in return, shutting his eyes.

Lilah smiled down at him before glancing at Tobias. He was asleep enough that she could put him back in the crib. Probably…

Carefully, she stood and made her way to the crisp, white crib. She set Tobias down, and, thankfully, he didn’t awake.

“There. Now we can sit on the rocking chair together,” Lilah said quietly.

Cameron’s eyes flicked open when Lilah stood up and he watched her set him down. He smiled happily as she approached him again. His smile was replaced with a look of bewilderment.
“What do you mean?”

(Lol.)

“You wanted to sit on the rocking chair, right?” Lilah asked, smiling at him. “So sit. And I’ll sit with you.”

Cameron’s eyebrows cutely furrowed. “Where would you sit?”

Lilah chuckled a bit. “I was thinking on your lap, babe.”

“M-my lap?” He stood up slowly. “O-okay.” He sat down, wiggling to get comfortable.

“Cam, we’re just sitting. Don’t worry,” Lilah teased as she carefully sat down in his lap and leaned back into him.

Cameron smiled a bit and hugged her close, leaning his head on her shoulder. “Sitting and not worrying is my superpower.”

“Hm, yeah… Except, maybe, for the worrying part,” Lilah teased, tiring her head a bit to kiss his cheek.

Cameron laughed softly and kissed her cheek. “That’s true.”

(Guardians of the Galaxy V2 is so funny. Lol. We just watched it.)

Lilah sighed contentedly and relaxed into him. "I love you, Cameron… I love this. All of this… It's perfect."

(Oh really?)

Cameron smiled happily, leaning his head closer to her. “I love you and this too. All of it.” He giggled.

(Yeah. Lol. Not the cleanest language, but still funny.)

Lilah smiled softly and looked back at him again. “Maybe we should get back in bed. I’m about to fall asleep here.”

(We all need some vulgarity in our lives, lol)

Cameron leaned back into thr chair, yawning. “What’s wrong with that?”

(Lol. I could survive without it.)

Lilah hummed a bit and shrugged. “Is this really that comfortable for you?”

Cameron grinned. “It’s warm up here with you.”

“That’s true. We should get a blanket, though,” Lilah chuckled.

Cameron yawned and hugged her close. “Nah. We don’t need it.”

Lilah sighed and glanced back at him with a smile. “All right… Yeah, you are pretty warm, anyway.”

Cameron smiled back, kissing her gently. “I can say the same.”

“Hm… Yeah, this is very nice… Can I go back to sleep, then?” Lilah murmured, facing forward again and leaning back into Cameron.

Cameron wrapped his arms around her tenderly, kissing her head. “Yes. Yes you may.”

“Good, good,” Lilah hummed sleepily.

(Happy new year! It’s not quite that time for me, but I know you’re an hour ahead, yeah!)
