(No. Remember he carried Nykidia? He just keeps some habits no matter what.)
"It's a big city. It's probably just that you haven't known anyone that left. I wouldn't have come here if I couldn't leave, I don't like being trapped." Aaron replied, looking up as he watched Night juggle. He made yet another fire in his palm and held it out to the shadowy female, a bit curious why she liked the flames so much. He assumed as some sort of shadow she might be scared. "Aside from ghost areas you should be able to go wherever you want. So far I've only been to where I used to live, the Center, and an old Roman structure. There's other places I need to go, but I'm staying here for now." He shared. He didn't say anything about waiting for Corru. He honestly was thinking about abandoning the plan, but he couldn't when he'd promised to follow through with it.
"I never knew that." Nykidia said. She looked over as Night snatched up the flame and added it in. "Are those hot?" She asked as she watched Night juggle the balls of flame.
Aaron tilted his head as Night played with the foxfire, a curious look in his eyes. "Only one. Not really hot, just slightly warm because it was supposed to keep the snowflakes from getting on us before Night took it." He said. He glanced at Eberaus then looked at the sky, seeing it get darker before looking back to Nykidia. He looked as more of the colorful lights went on, having not seen lights like these before. "We should go, but….What's with the lights? Is it some special event?" He asked. He knew what holidays and events were, but he never really celebrated them. So he never bothered to learn about them and just let others enjoy them, but seeing it up close made him curious.
"It's getting close to Christmas! I can't wait!" Nykidia said throwing up her hands. "Could I have one of those flames?" She asked Aaron.
Aaron gave a blank look of confusion before summoning another small fire. He was sure he was going to sleep a whole day with all the magic he was using today. "Be careful Night doesn't take it." He told Nykidia. He didn't really know the difference between Christmas and any other holiday, but he guessed she would talk about it some point with her excitement. He took a few steps as a signal they should get moving, otherwise he would go with his plan and leave after leading them to Nys Fish.
(Just saying that if they were good people they'd warn Nys her crazy parents are after her and know her location. She might want to hear it)
Nysaxiope had noticed that people had been putting up lights, but she didn't understand why. Some sort of event, she assumed. They never happened in Mertis, but she knew the outside world was different. But she didn't expect the weather to be so different. In her old town, there wasn't really seasons. Just a time when it was slightly warmer and a time when it was slightly cooler, but it didn't affect anybody's lives. Apparently that's not how it worked in the outside world. She watched the street from her window.
"I don't think I'll need to worry about that." She said taking the little flame. "Hey Night!" Nykidia yelled at her. Night looked up from her juggling. "Throw me one!" Night smirked and threw Nykidia one. They then began to juggle back and forth between each other. With the little flames it looked like a light show. They saw that Aaron wanted to move so they started walking with the Juggling act.
It seemed the two were playing with the little flames rather than paying attention, so Aaron was going to take them to Nys Fish. He walked with the group following. Snowflakes hit him, but he couldn't make a light to ward them off without Night taking it. He looked at the rooftops, using his memory of how far they went to find his way to the restaurant. He stopped at the door and looked to the others, he wasn't welcome here. "Go hang out with Nysaxiope. I don't like him, but I can manage being around Flyn. I promise I won't hurt him." He told them. He wasn't sure if they'd listen, but he hoped they would.
Night and Nykidia were so focused on juggling until they got to Nys fish. "No. I need to go back to the casino. Maybe we can get Nysaxiope and go back to the Casino. Flyn is probably worried about me." Nykidia insisted as she threw the rest of the flames over to Night. Why would Aaron want her staying with a stranger instead of her brother?
"Alright. Fine. I just want to make sure she knows about those sirens." He growled. He didn't see why Nykidia was so set on leaving her unknowing of what happened. Though maybe he would have forgotten as well if he didn't feel bad for yelling at her. He knew he had a temper and yelled when he wasn't thinking straight. He stood, waiting for Nykidia to get her so they could go.
Eberaus listened silently. This place was sealed off long ago? This question was enough to cause him annoyance. His voice was a low growl, "If it was sealed off…then how the hell did I end up here? Mind answering that?"
The rock drake released a soft snort. It no longer mattered to him. He could care less, especially now, about what either the pair had to say. He just wanted to feel natural rock and grass under his paws again. Eberaus wanted the solitude of home away from civilization. The male wasn't used to any of this, and it clearly was showing in the way he was acting.
"Nevermind, doesn't matter. I just need to get out of this city, away from everyone and everything, and return home."
Eberaus didn't either seem to notice the light snowfall, or he didn't really care. Though, being up in the mountains, snow never really bothered him.
Nirvana remained in his arms. The hydra lost track of time as eventually the female cried herself to sleep in his arms. Mylnorr sighed softly, scooping her up and cradling in her arms. He carried her upstairs, making not a sound.
~W-what do you think happened t-t-to upset her? I-I've never seen Nirvana so upset b-before…~.
A growl suddenly erupted in their mind. Kirdairn had decided to speak ~If someone hurt her, I swear I will find the bastard and make them pay~.
"Kirdairn…if someone did, I won't be stopping you."
There was seemingly a chuckle ~Don't worry brother, I'll save some parts for ya~.
They walked back downstairs. The male headed to the door, grabbing their jacket. Mylnorr pulled it over their form. He opened the door, walking outside, closing and locking the door behind them. They walked forward into the darkening evening.
Aaron growled, he didn't appreciate how the dragon was acting. If he wanted to be on his own so badly he could just walk off. "I can't answer that, maybe it broke when some balance got set off, but if you really want to throw a fit after we got you out of that place you can leave! See how much luck you have getting out of the city, see how you deal with those shadow creatures in the woods! They'll tear apart anyone that's alone at night." He snapped. If Eberaus really wasn't from here he had no reason to argue when he knew nothing about this world. No matter how nice some places might seem there's always at least one way to get yourself killed. "Nykidia, can you just get Nysaxiope so we can leave?" He asked, though it came out more like a demand as he glared at Eberaus. He wasn't going to fight, Eberaus could choose whether or not to follow once they got moving.
She seemingly released an inaudible sigh. In her arms, Ryder remained limp. The woman watched the strange individual and the other female. Well, it seemed they knew each other at least. She was silent as they spoke to each other.
"…I don't want him dead…I just want to know why…why and what happened…as much as many deny…there is usually a reason why one acts the way they do…"
"Huh, oh. Cool, Time you can go now." She said with a shrug as Time gave an annoyed huff and walked through a portal. "Okay then, I don't think I introduced myself. I'm Cherry Asherwood, Head Blood Mage of the Eastern, western, and Northen territories."
Nysaxiope saw a few figures come close to the door of her restaurant. After a minute, she realized it was Nykidia, Aaron and Eberaus. She was relieved Eberaus was okay, but she was kinda pissed Aaron was there. "What are you doing here," She yelled down at them, over thirty feet below her while leaning out of the window.
Nykidia looked up at Nysaxiope. "Hey Nysaxiope! We got Eberaus! We were wondering if you wanted to come back to our casino with us! We can explain what happened! And I have a feeling that your not going to like it!" She yelled up to her. She looked over at Aaron. "Aaron stop it. We just had a fight with people. We don't need another." She said, sighing.
"I'm not picking a fight. I'm warning him what's out there. So what if I have a bad tone, I'm telling him to not get himself killed!" Aaron responded. He wasn't snapping now, but he didn't sound happy either. Yet he didn't say anymore. Nysaxiope might come down and he already knew he wasn't liked, so he quieted to not stir up trouble. One thing that annoyed him though was that Nykidia was telling him to not start a fight. She wasn't the one barely conscious after the fights, so if he didn't have a problem with the consequences he didn't see why she did.
Nysaxiope quirked her head in question then let herself fall out of the window and caught herself a foot off of the ground. "What is it? Also, what's this white stuff?" Her voice then turned annoyed. "And why is he here?" She asked, pointing at Aaron.
Nykidia gave Aaron a glare and stuck out her tongue at him. "1. Not here. 2. That is snow. and 3. Because I want him here." Nykidia listed off. "Come on. Lets go!" She said as she started walking back to the casino.
Aaron frowned at Nysaxiope needing a reason for him to be there. What did she expect, for him to suddenly become a coward and run off in shame after their argument? He was a bit upset no one seemed to really enjoy his company, even when he was trying to try, but he growled so it didn't show. Other than that he was quiet, pulling his hood to cover his face more as he followed. He didn't know what to do in his silence. He couldn't summon a flame since Night would take it, and the only other magic he knew worked for fights. Eventually he summoned a small card, focusing on flipping it and watching the images change as he followed Nykidia. He was ignoring the others, trying to avoid a fight.
Nysaxiope followed the other girl. "Hm. Snow. That's new for me. By the way, what happened? How did you get Eberaus back?"
The woman continued to watch the pair. She has started to walk back to her room, Ryder still limp in her arms. Her head turned, violet eyes landing upon the woman who introduced herself as 'Cherry'.
The lady was silent for several moments, then finally bowed her head slightly before the other, responding, "Lady Sinann is the name that was given to me."
She straightened again, "I never did ask, what has brought you to my abode?"
A slight frown appeared on Sinann's face, "I've really been trying to keep low, to not draw attention to myself."
Eberaus instantly bristled. The skin along his arms and face seemingly rippled as scales appeared. The male's nails started to curve into claws as he growled.
"I never asked for you to follow or rescue me. You and the girl chose to follow, you had complete control to ignore and leave while you could."
His lips curled back, showing his fangs, "Shadow beasts…least back home…aren't a problem. They pose little threat compared to 'Abominations' or even the 'Corruption'."
As he mentioned the 'Corruption', the male's body actually seemed to shudder slightly at the thought. He would prove to not be as effective against such beasts compared to his fiery brethren. The rock drake just hoped that there was no thing like the 'Corruption' in this world.
Though, he did indeed not stick around long. As soon Aaron and Nykidia continued on their way, the rock drake broke off from the group. His tail trailed behind him, starting to slow down, but there was still the twitch of agitation there. His body still seemed to remain somewhat tense as he left them behind.
They continued to slowly walk down the path. Their jacket was pulled tightly around their body. They weren't really used to this cold weather, nor were they really made for it. Being a swamp/aquatic hydra, they were used to hot and humid areas, least when they were still back in their swampy home. So trying to adjust to this cold weather was proving to be difficult for them.
He suddenly sneezed, grumbling softly under his breath, "Damn…that's all we need, to get sick."

Lovino sits on top of a tree and watches them walk around. "wonder if I should intervene or not……." he takes a sip of his coffee.

"Oh?" Cherry tilted her head and smiled, showing extremely sharp teeth. "Oh. I smelled the blood, of course, it was a rarer type of blood and I wanted to experiment on it." She said with a mad scientist giggle.
Nykidia shivered slightly. Even though she loved snow and this weather, it was freezing. Night saw her shiver so she let go of the balls of fire and curled her wisp around Nykidia while wrapping her arms around Nykidia. Nykidia set her hands on Night's arms. "Thanks." She whispered as they reached the Casino. She pushed open the doors. Flyn was inside talking to some people when he saw Nykidia walk in. "Nykidia!" He said leaving the conversation he was in to hug her. "Are you OK? You didn't come back from lunch and I was getting worried." Flyn said with a worried look on his face. "Flyn, I'm fine. Like I've told you. I can handle my self." "I know it's just-" "I'm fine Flyn." She said as she slowly covered the cut on her arm from earlier. "I just need a change of clothes and a blanket and I can explain where I've been." Flyn sighed. "OK."
Nysaxiope coughed to bring attention to herself and raised her hand. "Uh, confused siren here, mind telling me what this place is?"
Aaron had the fire disappear, pulling down his hood as he stepped inside. He didn't say anything that might come off as picking a fight, staying quiet until Nysaxiope piped up with a question. "This is the Casino. Serves drinks and stuff. I stayed here the other night." He answered. He didn't say anything specific, Nykidia would know more, but he wanted to show he was trying to not be hostile. He didn't want to stay quiet just to not stir up trouble. He had trouble with it, muttering to himself when he wasn't in a conversation. A bad habit he didn't know the exact origins of.

"Come on." Nykidia said as she lead them into a back room. There was a fireplace to the end with couches and chairs near it. There were several blankets sitting folded on one couch. There was evergreen branches on top of the fireplace mantle. "I need a change of clothes. I'm sure you do to Aaron. Nysaxiope, make your self comfortable." She said as she went up a flight of stairs to get some clothes.
