"Hey. . ." Quinn gave him a small smile, clearing her voice. "What's wrong?" She asked, hoping that was a good question.

"Nothing. I'm fine." Dylan told her. "Thanks for stopping by." He reached out to shut the door.

Quinn let out a frustrated sigh, ready for the door to slam in her face. "Well, sorry that I just wanted to make sure that you're okay." She said, ready to turn around.

Dylan shut the door. What are you doing?! Don't shut out your friends! He sighed, opening the door again.

Quinn still stood there, her arms crossed over her chest. She tried to leave, but she knew she couldn't do that.

"I…I'm sorry." Dylan moved out of the way so she could walk in. "I'm not fine. I really need someone to talk to."

Her gaze softened and she stepped inside. "It's okay. What's wrong. . .?"

He shut the door. "I…I'm not sure." Dylan bit his lip to keep himself from yelling everything. "Okay, this is kind of serious. So…I don't really have any friends. I tend to shut people out and get mad for no reason and…well that's part of the reason I yelled at Damian and Calypso." He sat down on a chair, leaning over and shaking his head. "I'm such an idiot."

"Dylan, you are not an idiot. You are one of the smartest and nicest and funniest people I know." She smiled. "And it's okay if you shut people out. You can learn to let them in too."

He looked up at her, his eyes filled with despair in his eyes. "But I can't." Dylan groaned, running his fingers through his hair. "I can't I can't I can't…"

"Hey, you let me in." She said softly. "You can do it to others too. Your friends are here for you, like Calypso and Lina."

"Who are you kidding, Calypso isn't friends with my anymore." Dylan stated, staring back down at the floor.

"Yeah, she is." Quinn replied, sitting down next to him. "Calypso's a very good friend, and I know that she'll always be there for you."

Dylan stood up, shaking. "I'm sorry, I need you to go. I really need to punch something right now and I don't want you to get hurt…" He marched over to his room.

Quinn sighed and got up. "That's fine. I'll see you at five if you're still coming." She left his dorm room and walked towards her math class.

He nodded, silently shutting his bedroom door and falling onto his bed. Dylan looked down at his shaky hands. That was my one chance to let someone in, and I ruined it! He bit his lip to keep himself from screaming and crying.
