"No, I like the shock! It gives me a thrill every time I hear it!" Lilah laughed.
"No, I like the shock! It gives me a thrill every time I hear it!" Lilah laughed.
Cameron laughed with her again, hugging her close. “The shock! Of being married!”
"The shock of the name change," Lilah chuckled, snuggling into him.
Cameron giggled softly and relaxed back into the couch. “You’re so lovely.”
Lilah blushed a little and kissed him softly. "Well, you're so handsome."
(It's raining… In the middle of December… Why…?)
(Oooof weather)
Cameron laughed softly and kissed her gently in return. “You’re so beautiful.”
(It's making the roads all slushy because of the snow that was already on the ground… Make up your fricking mind, MN!!!)
"You are incredibly amazing," Lilah replied softly, kissing him again with a small smile.
(Fjdkdkdodnsdk it’s just cold as hecccccc)
Cameron giggled softly, blushing. “Thank you.”
"Any time, babe," Lilah chuckled as she closed her eyes.
(Skip?)
(Sure. When to?)
(When her parent(s) come in?)
(Oof… Okay… Um… Sure, yeah. I'll try to figure that out, then…)
(Hm)
(Ugh, sorry… I'm not feeling creative right now… Lol. I'll try, though.
I'm going to skip another couple of months. She's now about six months pregnant.)
Lilah sighed as she cleaned the kitchen for the third time that month. She couldn't help it; everything just needed to be perfect. Especially today. She had finally decided to tell her mother news, and the queen was supposed to arrive any minute now.
(whWH)
Cameron tapped nervously on the table, his fingers tip tapping as he watched the parking lot. He sincerely hoped her father wasn’t attending. If he was, Cameron was expecting to walk out with a bruise or two. Cameron didn’t like bruises, much.
(?)
"This won't come off," Lilah muttered as she scrubbed at a stain on the counter. "It needs. To. Come. Off."
(Whehe,eh)
Cameron glanced over, his eyebrows furrowed cutely. “Lil-lilah you don’t have to get every little smudge off of the counter.” He rose slowly out of his chair.
(Lol.
Lilah – Nesting instinct: on.)
"Yes, I do… It has to be perfect…" Lilah murmured, finally getting the stain to wash off. She sighed and rested against the counter. "Gosh, why am I like this? I'm going to be too exhausted to even see my mother by the time she gets here at this rate…"
Cameron gently grabbed the washcloth from her hands and set it down, leading her away slowly.
“It looks wonderful. Soon we’ll just be inahling bleach fumes rather than oxygen.” He laughed softly and sat her down.
Lilah gave him a small smile before leaning her head against his chest. "I hate cleaning… But I can't stop… Did we ever finish the nursery?" she asked suddenly, pulling away with a worried look in her eyes. "We painted it, but dos we finish getting all the furniture in? And decorations?"
Cameron set his hands on her shoulders, kissing her head. “Yes. We finished it all. I moved in the furnishings and we decorated it.” He rubbed her shoulders gently.
Lilah relaxed visibly and leaned into him again. "Good, good… Thank you, Cam."
Cameron smiled at her snd hugged her gently. “You’re welcome, my love.”
A knock sounded on the door, making Lilah jump. She glanced at the door with wide eyes. "She's here…" she whispered.
Cameron let her go and inhaled sharply. “Alright… let’s go. Together.” He smiled and offered his hands.
"Yeah. Together," Lilah agreed softly, smiling at him as she took his hands and stood.
She walked over to the door and took a deep breath before opening it. "Hi, mom…"
"Lilah… Oh, my goodness…" the queen breathed as she took in the sight of her obviously-pregnant daughter. "Wow. How far along are you now?"
"About six months. Would you like to come in?" Lilah offered with a small smile.
The queen nodded, so Lilah let her in. She led her to the kitchen, getting a few glasses of water. After handing one to her mother, she handed one to Cameron and kept one for herself.
Cameron squeezed her hand but did nothing and said nothing as the brief conversation at the door. He pulled out a chair for the queen, then for Lilah and sat himself, thanking Lilah softly and kissing her cheek.
The queen thanked Cameron politely and sat down as her daughter did the same. "So, Lilah… How has it been? The pregnancy, I mean…"
"It's… been good, for the most part. Early on, I had pretty bad morning sickness, but I don't anymore. Now I just need to clean constantly," Lilah chuckled.
Cameron smiled a bit. Their house has never been cleaner. He wondered if he should do more research on her symptoms. Surely it wasn’t anything terrible.
