He nodded. "I'm going to go after and make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. Hold down the fort while I'm gone." He ruffled her hair then got up, following after the girl.

What's a friend? Can you eat it? Also, Introverts get drained from being social, extroverts need to be with others, but they can be with others, as long as it is small groups. What I have is social anxiety, where you hate being with large groups, and socializing is hard. Is the lecture helpful?

(But social anxiety is a mental health thing. Mentally ill means mentally unsettled, not retarded. I have social anxiety and depression. That doesn't put me at a lower status, it is just my state of mind. I hate being judged, and being shunned, but as long as I live, I try to be mindful and joyful, because being alive is a gift. I rarely succeed, but when you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up, up, up!)

(Im sorry you have social anxiety and depression. Ive gone through depression before and it sucks. Being alive is a gift and everyone should cherish it)
