(Later in the day?)
(Kk. Skip to then or?)
(I like the fluff… But we can if you want to.)
(Oh then let’s continue the fluff.)
(Okie!)
Lilah sighed and relaxed into the bed. “Love you, Cam…”
Cameron put a hand on her forehead, feeling for a fever. “I love you too.”
Lilah smiled up at him softly. “I’m not sick, hun. I just didn’t sleep well last night.”
Cameron grunted and kissed her forehead. “Just making sure, babe. Get some sleep.”
“I will. See you in a bit,” Lilah sighed as she closed her eyes.
Cameron bobbed out of the bedroom and back into the kitchen. He poked at the bacon a couple times before starting on the pancakes, humming.
(…So… Any chance you have your character for the Axton Prep RP..?)
A bubbly sensation in her stomach woke Lilah a while later, and she rolled over to stare at the ceiling. She rested a hand on belly and sighed again. That was what had kept her up last night. She was pretty sure it was just the baby moving, though, so she wasn’t worried about it.
(Oh snapple let me do that. Sorryyyyy!)
Cameron sighed softly as he flipped a pancake. He had cooked a few in the time that had passed, and piled them up onto a plate. He also cooked egg and more bacon, then set the plates out on their table. He poked his head into their bedroom, wondering if she was awake.
“Lilah?”
(No worries, just wanted to remind you!)
“He’s moving… I can feel it,” Lilah murmured, looking up at the ceiling. She glanced over at Cameron, giving him a small smile and gesturing for him to come over. “Come here. Feel.”
Cameron walked over when she invited him, looking interested and slightly afraid. He sat next to her, his hands cupped on his lap. He grinned down at her, tilting his head.
“Does it hurt? Him moving around?”
Lilah shook her head, smiling up at him softly. "No. Not really. It just feels kinda weird. Here, give me your hand," she said, reaching for his hand.
Cameron smiled and nodded before offering his hand to her. “Okay. Hand.”
Lilah chuckled and took his hand, placing it on her slightly-swollen belly. The baby moved again, and he would be able to feel just a bit of it.
"See?" Lilah whispered, mesmerized by the tiny person inside her.
Cameron blinked. He felt a little shift from her and the baby, but he wasn’t quite sure if it was him.
“I…It feels weird. I can barely feel him.”
(Don't forget about Axton Prep, Emi. :)
"He's still pretty little. I'm sure we'll feel him more later on," Lilah said with a shrug. "Give him a month or so."
(I haven’t!)
Cameron nodded, a smile working across his face. “We have a wonderful son.”
(Okay! Just making sure.)
Lilah grinned up at him, nodding. "We do… I bet he'll look just like you."
(^-^)
Cameron smiled sheepishly down at her, shaking his head. “I hope he looks like you.”
"You want your son to look like a girl?" Lilah teased, sitting up.
“No, I want him to look attractive.” He smiled.
Lilah snorted. "M'kay… But you are attractive, babe."
Cameron rolled his eyes. “Nah. I disagree. You’re just saying that.”
"I most certainly am not just saying that. I think you're very attractive," Lilah argued, tugging him over so he would sit with her.
Cameron scooted closer to her, smiling at her dorkily. “I know you do, but in the big picture, I am not.”
Lilah sighed and looked at him. “But you are to me, and that’s all that matters, right?”
Cameron leaned over and kissed her nose. “Yes, dear. It’s all that matters.”
