Sol looked in the window. "I can freeze time for a few minutes depending on how much energy I have at the moment. In that time slot everything that's animate becomes inanimate and time doesn't progress, so I can still touch people and move them around, but unless they're body in prosthetic, I can't manipulate it. What do you need me to do?"
Easton nodded a few times, peeking in through the window. "I need you to go in there and move the owner out here if you can."
"Easy peasy." Sol nodded. She went up to the doors of the bookstore and pulled them open. She closed her eyes for a second and concentrated. When she opened them she looked around to make sure nobody was moving. After confirming that she walked up to the villain in question and wrapped her arm around the woman's midsection. The woman's hair swished to the side as Sol picked her up and carried her out of the bookstore, closing the doors behind her. She backed up to beside Easton before letting time start again. "Okay, Easton she's outside now."
With a violent burst of panic, Florence fell forward, her hands scraping across the pavement. "Of course…Of course!" She yelled, clearly frustrated. The woman inside had since looked up and was trying to pull out the thin sheet of metal that had been partially embedded in her scalp. Narrowing her eyes, Florence moved the bands outside, watching out of the corner of her eye as they slid under the main door. She aimed them at Easton and then gave him a blank look, stopping what she was doing.
-
Once Sol had returned with the woman, Easton watched as she fell onto the sidewalk. In the same instant the bands that had been aimed at the shop owner, were now pointing at him. There were remnants of the other woman's blood as well as a few strands of her hair. Taking his eyes off of the silvery sheet, Easton lurchd forward and put a foot down on one of the woman's hands before grabbing her other arm. Despite not having any free hands, the band of metal still shot forward, sliding into the blue-haired man's leg.
"Oh shit!" Sol yelled before freezing time. She had previously only used her power for less than a minute so it had barely tired her. Okay, what to do. First things first, I need to get that metal out. She thought as she pulled the metal out of Easton's leg. Now I need to put something there to stop the bleeding when time starts again. She grabbed a bystanders bag where she came across a lot of luck and a first aid kit. She pulled up the bottom of Easton's pant leg to tape on gauze. Okay, now get rid of this metal piece. That woman can't use the piece of metal on her face unless she wants to reveal her identity, so I just need to get rid of this one. I can check for other pieces she has in a moment. Sol took the piece of metal and jogged away from the fight, until she was half a mile away before throwing it in a dumpster. It doesn't look specific to her power, so I hope that she won't be able to get this. She jogged back. Okay that must've taken six minutes. I will be more tired when I let time start again. Let's do this. She thought, letting time continue.
As Easton stepped on her hand, Florence attempted to yank it out from under one of his boots, which resulted in a horrible pop as a few of her fingers came out of place. It's just one thing after the other today, isn't it? She thought, realizing the sheets of iron that she had been using were gone. Now what am I supposed to use? She wondered, shooting a dirty look at the girl with the bandana on her face. I bet she's the one doing it…I don't have time to feel around for anything else…
Making a pained sound in the back of her throat, Florence attempted once more to free herself, this time succeeding. However, in the second it had taken her to regain her balance and look at her limp hand, she had seen a brief blue blur. Soon after, there were feathers scattered on the ground and Easton had wrapped Florence up with his wings, holding her still.
I can use the pipes! Florence thought, listening to the cracking of the pavement as the metal structures were pulled from the ground. This, like all of the others, was also a failed attempt. In the same moment, she had begun to rip up the metal tubes, her hand had smacked against the concrete, making her stop what she was doing.
"This has all been very convenient for you two," she muttered, finally hunching over and taking a good look at her wobbly fingers.
"I know I've been getting you to do a lot, but could you by any chance get something to bind her with?" Easton asked Sol, still keeping a strong grip on the red-headed woman.
Sol was panting from running a mile in a few minutes. "Of course." She stopped time and ran at a nearby convenience store. I can pay later. She searched for a minute before coming across rope. She grabbed it and ran out of the store, yelling a "Sorry!" at the frozen in time clerk as she ran by. She let time continue before passing the rope to Easton. "Is that good?"
"Perfect," he said, tying the re-headed woman's arms behind her back.
-
Florence looked back at Easton, who had half of his face covered, adding to the fact that she couldn't fully see him. "It was bound to happen one day," she said, looking forward once again and only being able to see a mixture of blue, white, and grey. "I honestly don't get why it wasn't obvious much sooner…" She added, finally seeing the other girl as well. She allowed the bands around the lower half of her face to fall off, and she looked back at Easton and then to the girl, flashing a smile that revealed sharp teeth.
"I've known him since we were little!" Florence said, acting as if none of what had just happened actually did. "A shame though, that this is the last way I'll be seeing my friend."
This isn't her actual response I just had to do this))
"Sis, the only thing bound is your arms," Sol said with confidence.
"Ea– I mean, Blue Jay, you know her?" Sol searched the woman's face to see if she was lying. Instead, a different thought showed up. "Wait, you were with someone else yesterday. Is this her?"
Easton nodded a few times, looking down at Florence as the bands that had been around her lower face dropped. "Yes, I do know her." He said, narrowing his eyes. "None of that matters much now though," Easton added, pulling his phone out of a zipped pocket on the side of his uniform.
-
"Don't worry, I'm not going to say any names here," Florence said, looking over to Sol. "That's a nasty ability you've got." She said, making a vain attempt to wiggle the fingers that had been pulled out of place. I guess they still aren't moving. Florence thought, looking back to Easton as he spoke on the phone.
"You could really hurt someone with it if you ever got mad enough," Florence added, only looking back to Sol once the phone call had been ended.
Sol looked at the woman on the ground. "I know." She had experience with that. She looked to Easton. "You calling the police?"
Easton nodded once more, slipping his phone back into the zip-up pocket. "Yeah, they should be here to pick her up any time now. Five minutes, maybe?" He said, looking down at Florence who was staring off into space in front of herself.
-
I wonder if I could still get away now? Florence wondered, staring unblinkingly at the wall of a shop across the street. "Probably not," she whispered, her eyes slowly widening as she stared.
"Um… I kinda stole that rope from that store–" She pointed to the convenience store, "–so do you mind if I go apologize?" She asked Easton.
"It's fine, I can handle her alone for a few minutes," Easton said, his eyes locked on the back of Florence's head. Eventually, he took a step closer to her back and nudged her with his foot to get her attention.
"What was the point of doing that?" He asked, his eyes still narrowed.
Florence lifted her shoulders dramatically, "I was bored and she just so happened to be there." As she spoke, Easton crossed his arms.
"You're unbelievable," He muttered.
(Sorry I didn't jump in I'm on a family vacation right now so I'm not on as much)
It's fine! I wasn't on for a few days so I can't really say much to anyone about not being active,))
(Thats fair haha, yeah I'm going back home on Tuesday and so I'll probably be on more after that but I'll also have 2 weeks worth of school to catch up on)
(Where us everyone? I think I want to j reduce my freelancer finally)
After a somewhat awkward encounter, Sol returned to Easton. "I'm guessing the police with brush away the bystanders, right? Wait, are they gonna talk to me? What are they gonna say?" She tried to hide her hands in her pockets, but then realized her hoodie was cropped and she was wearing pocket less shorts.

Right now Florence and Easton are in front of the book-store and Florence is about to be arrested; Sol is also in front of the store. I'm not too sure about the others since they haven't' been here since I left for a few days the last time.))

She tried to hide her hands in her pockets but then realized her hoodie was cropped and she was wearing pocketless shorts.
Easton looked from Florence over to Sol, his arms still crossed and an agitated look on his face. "They probably will talk to you, but I'll explain to them why you're here." He said, somehow managing to not sound as angry as he looked.
Soon, a boxy vehicle appeared from around the corner. It was black and across the side was the abbreviation, V.C.U Villian Containment Unit. Out from the driver's and passenger's side doors stepped two uniformed officers, a man, and a woman. In the hands of the man were a folder and a clipboard, while the woman held handcuffs and a bulky metal bracelet that had a bright blue light on the side of it.
"Hello," chirped the woman, walking over to the three that were in front of the book-store. Easton stepped out of the way so that the woman could put the bracelet and cuffs on Florence, watching as the light on the bracelet turned red.
"Do you have her name?" Asked the man from in front of the large doors that were on the back of the truck.
Finally speaking again from her place on the ground, Florence interrupted Easton once he was about to tell the officer. "Florence Ellis," she said.
Easton nodded at what Florence had said, as the man asked another short question. "Her ability?" He asked.
"Iron manipulation," Easton said.
"It's quite limiting, I have to make sure I have my own equipment with me at all times," Florence added, being stood up with the aid of the female officer on scratched and bruised legs. Her suit had been torn in multiple places and the fingers on her left hand were still dangling uselessly, now showing the first signs of bruising.
The man near the truck took a step away as the other woman walked Florence over to the vehicle, unlocking the back doors and helping her inside. "Also, who's that?" The man asked, motioning to Sol with the pen in his hand. "You can't be bringing random people with you to things like this."
Sol glanced around then fixed her eyes on the officer. "Lacuna. Blue Jay called me to come here," She said, pointing at Easton. "I believe he put in a recommendation for me yesterday."

(Ok so can I have Killian come over to see to the arrest?)
(Yeah! Feel free to!)
Easton nodded quickly a few times, looking at the officer who had questioned why the girl was there. "Yeah, we just need to get her a physical card. I'm helping her out for now," he said.
"Alright, I'll put her down for this along with you." The man said, scribbling something onto one of the papers in his folder.
From her place inside the back of the truck, Florence popped up and looked through one of the windows. She waved, getting her hands up as high as they would go from behind her back, smiling slightly. "I'll see you soon," she mouthed, watching Easton and Sol.
Killian, in his Hydronic identity, floated down to where the officers had the girl on the car. He walked over to them "hello officers, what happened?" He asked, gesturing to the girl in the truck.
The woman, who was now standing beside of the large black vehicle, looked over to the brown-haired stranger. "Oh, there was a robbery. It's been handled though, so everything is fine now." She said, smiling and looking over the other officer's shoulder at the paperwork he was filling out.
Florence moved over to the window closest to the officers and gazed out of it from a sort of sideways angle. A few people had gathered on the sidewalk opposite of the one the book-store was on, one of them -who was uniformed in a freelancer outfit- had even walked over to ask what had happened. She glanced over to Easton and Sol, who were still standing beside each other, with Easton staring daggers at Florence. Directing her attention back to the two officers and the freelancer, Florence watched their mouths.
Officers…Happened. She looked over to the man with the folder. He was still scribbling something down. Well, that doesn't make much sense. He's probably just asking what I did. Florence thought, taking one more look at the people across the street. There were a few groups, some with children who were pointing at the three freelancers that had gathered. Though she couldn't hear them, Florence guessed that they were chattering to their parents about "the heroes".
Killian was getting bored of the attention and the fact that the officers weren't telling him much, he decided to go over to the captive. "Well, you tried to rob a bookstore, why?" He asked
