"We're not love birds yet. He has yet to agree to be my boyfriend." She winked at him.

Ryker took her hand and looked out the window. His eyes were heavy, but he tried not to fall asleep. He shook his head and smiled at the ‘lovebirds’ comment.

Elizabeth broke off a square and handed it to him.

"Well I wish you the best of luck Phoebe" Alex said (she has a bit of bipolar tendencys. i forgot to mention that)

"I'll check your head again when we get to the hotel. Try not to sleep until after dark." Her thumb caressed the back of his hand.

Tealle opened her chips and started to eat them.

He nodded and gave her hand a squeeze.

She gave him a small smile.

"where are we going?" Alex asked leaning foward

(should we skip to when they get to the hotel?)

Phoebe pulled up in front of a hotel an hour later. She parked and got out, grabbing hers and Ryker's bag. "I'll check us in."

Ryker looked up. “Alright,” he said. He unbuckled and got out of the car

Alex got out and got her bag. She walked in after stuffing her katanas in her bag

Phoebe kissed his cheek and walked in. She got them a couple rooms then walked back to the van. She handed out keys. "We'll take turns on watch, so we don't have a repeat of last time." She said. She took Ryker's hand and led him and the others. "These are our two rooms. Choose one."
Phoebe walked into one of them. "Sit Ryker. I need to check your head ."

Kaden wen into the other room, not wanting to deal with the almost love birds. He dropped his bag on the floor. "I'm going to shower and then I'll take first watch."

"Can i take first watch? Please Kaden i don't want to sleep"

"No." Kaden glared.

Tealle lay down on her bed after taking a shower and went to sleep.

"why?" Alex asked looking at Kaden

"Stop arguing with me Alex. Just do as your told for once."

Ryker sat down and put his head forward. “I’m fine, Casanova,”

"Im not arguing with you i just want to know why not? because right now it just feels like im not able to do anything helpful"

She gave him a look. "You're not fine until I say you're fine." She said. She got the nectar out of the bag and got a wash cloth from the bathroom. She sat down on the bed behind him and started to clean the wound.

He gave her a look. "Because I said so." He gathered his clothes and went to the bathroom.
