Jasmine stands up. "I'm gonna go back in that cave."

Jay sighed and looked down at his hands. "Yeah. I, uh. I was 12. I went exploring in the forest with my sister, and I got lost. I just kept wandering, and, um. I was technically killed. That was when Cyprus hijacked my body and ran around wearing me like a suit for a year." He wiggled his metal leg a little. "He's the reason I'm a whole lot of nuts and bolts."

Addison nodded. Nothing seemed to faze her. Yet, she was pretty accepting of differences.

“Oh.” Lucille frowned, she patted him on the head and went to the others.

Jay stood up. "Well, enough touchy-feely for one day! Let's go back to figuring out whatever ridiculousness is in that cave!"

"NO!!!" Addi shot up, terrified. "No one goes into that cave until we can figure out what happened."

"We already know! Cyprus used it as a distraction to try and take me over! I'm sure there's nothing really dangerous in there."

"Are you sure? What about the warnings on the cave walls?"

Addi shook her head. "Guys the words………………….they were warnings. If we go in there again………………." She couldn't bring herself to say it.

"We NEED to though Addison. We could find something important in there."

"Maybe I can sonar the cave?" Jay suggested

"Jasmine…………………………………………..that cave is literally called 'Death's Lair'."

"Well in my opinion, it's no 'Death's Lair' unless there's an angry two headed dragon hiding in it somewhere."

"That's pretty much what Katuku is. But………………….scarier."

"I don't care. I'm going back in."

"NO! Jaxton told me to keep you guys safe. So that's what I'm going to do."

"Wait, I'm coming with!" Jay reached for his rifle and turned it into a machine gun, holding it by his side to be safe

Addison put her hands out and stopped the two of them in their tracks.

"Don't worry Addison. I'll be fine. And I have Jay coming with me now."

Addison pulled her hands back, which dragged Jasmine and Jay back to her. "NO. No one goes."

Jay groaned. "Ugh, come on mom. If I survived a ghost, I can survive one little cave."

Addison snickered at that comment. But then she turned serious again. "NO. ONE. GOES. IN."

"Sorry, but I'm doing this, whether you like it or not. And if I die doing it, then I die." Jasmine says, and uses her super speed to get past Addison.

“Man, I will be so dead if anyone actually dies. The boss is going to have my head. Oh well I’m already really dead. My teammates are neon. Why don’t people listen to safety precautions?” Lucille said. (She is saying this to Addison btw.)

(ok I'm back for a bit) Jay grabbed his hoverboard again and took off after Jasmine. "Wait for me!"

"I know right?" Addi returned. "Why can't they just listen to reason???"
