Sequoia smiled. She wasn't very good with physical things, not incredibly smart or gifted in magic, but she was good at talking when she needed to be. "Yup! That's what I've been doing for the last ten years, so I think I'm okay with it. What does mira tora mean?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña smiled at Sequoia’s attempts at the phrase, “Mira tora means my stars. It can be swapped out to things if you want.” She shrugged. It was always one of her favourite phrases for some unknown reason.

Sequoia smiled back giving the words a second try. "Mira tora? Is that right?" The phrase seemed quite interesting. There weren't many phrases like that in her language, and it seemed kind of whimsical for Aniña's. Still, it was nice. Cute. Just like her wife.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Nearly, the first word was right but the second syllable for the second needs to be stressed a little more,” Aniña explained, shrugging with a smile, “Like this, Mira tora.

"Mira tora? Like that?" The words felt smooth and sharp on Sequoia's tongue. Closer to the way Aniña's sounded than her first two attempts. Learning this new language was definitely something she wanted to try out, if only to give her a hobby.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña nodded, her smile growing. She had to admit she really did like the way her wife spoke her language, it felt nice to have someone speak the words even slightly softer then normal, “Yes, just like that. Good job!”

Sequoia grinned, pecking er wife on the cheek before they exited the mansion through the front hall. The sunlight was bright enough to make her quint as she worked her way into the carriage, pulling Aniña alongside her. "I like speaking your language. I feel like it makes us closer."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña nodded her head in agreement, crossing one leg over the other once the carriage door was shut and set in motion, “I agree. I think speaking yours, too. I’m not gonna lie, I really like how you speak my language.”

Sequoia winked at her playfully. "Maybe I'll learn how to say something a little more… interesting, and we can have a bit of fun together." How hard could it be to find a book on dirty talk in Aniña's language? Surely there would a store somewhere that sold it.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña snorted but grinned at her wife, “Maybe you will. Now I definitely want you to learn more of my language.” She playfully nipped at Sequoia’s earlobe and placed a few kisses down her neck.

Sequoia gasped happily, leaning into the kisses. "Glad you'd like that too, especially since I can just ask you myself. How do you say 'make out with me'?"

Sequoia tried to process the words and then spat them out again. "Cerec p…pyr hic…t jer? Was that right?"

Deleted user

"Okay. So… Cerec pyr hict… jer? Cerec pyr hict jer?" The words sounded like Aniña's, so Sequoia was happy. And not joking in the slightest, despite what her wife may think. She would definitely use this information later.

Sequoia smirked into the kiss, tugging on the collar of Aniña's shirt to pull her in closer. Judging by her wife's reaction, Sequoia could put this phrase to good use. After a few minutes, she pulled away. "How do you say 'more'?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Keirk." Aniña muttered, eyes flicking between Sequoia's lips and her eyes. Gods be damned she'd take her wife right here if she couldn't keep herself in check which she was currently failing at.

Sequoia smirked as Aniña looked from her lips to her eyes. If she kept this up, things were definitely going to go down in this carriage. She was totally in the mood for it. "Keirk, huh? How about 'harder'?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Teasing. Utter teasing and it wasn’t fair in the slightest, “Perrienth.” Aniña willed her heart to slow, willed herself to calm. They were nearly at the village but if Sequoia kept doing this then they’d find an inn for the afternoon.

"Perrienth." Sequoia leaned closer to her wife, keeping her voice low and sultry as she asked "Cerec pyr hict jer?" A smirk curled its way onto her lips.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña didn’t respond and just pressed her lips to her wife’s in a passionate kiss. She let her hands roam her body just needing to touch her at least for a few moments.

Well, that worked better than Sequoia had anticipated. Apparently Aniña really liked it when she spoke her language. Which was balanced out by the fact that Sequoia really liked making out with her wife. She draped her arms over Aniña's neck to pull her even closer. "Mmm, keirk?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña smirked a little, kissing Sequoia on the lips a little longer before working her way down her jawline and to her neck, nipping at her earlobe occasionally. Damn her and her self control.

Sequoia hummed happily, having achieved exactly what she wanted from this little foray into Aniña's language. She was going to abuse this relentlessly. "Keirk!"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña’s smirk widened and she shifted the position easily. She knew from the look on her wife’s face that this was going to be a common occurrence.

Sequoia smiled even harder, craning her neck to give Aniña more access. Sadly, their little makeout session was cut off when the carriage stopped. A servant opened the door, seemingly unfazed by the scene before him. He simply gestured that they should exit the carriage and waited for them to step out.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña sighed and grumbled something under her breath as she placed one last kiss to her wife’s lip before pulling away. She stepped out of the carriage, giving the servant a look before holding out her hand for Sequoia to take.

Sequoia did so happily, pressing a perfectly innocent kiss to her wife's cheek. She instructed the servant to drive around for an hour and then wait for them at the nearby church to the Golden Man, a new religion that seemed to be taking hold. "Shall we shop, Habibi?"
