"I'd just be right here." He smiled, sitting down where the doctor told him and letting them do some tests to check his vitals.

Macha shook her head, unable to explain to him what life had been like without him by her side. She sat a little way off, eyes glued to him.
They finished a couple minutes later, telling him he could leave the hospital, which was great news. He stood up and walked over to Macha, wobbling slightly. "Do you know where I live?" He asked, frowning a little.
"Where we live," she corrected him gently, feeling a slight twinge of sadness but brushing it off. Looping an arm under his shoulders to support him, Macha lead him gently back to the car. "I'll drive."
"We?" He stayed silent for a minute, frowning, before looking back up and grinning. "I remember! It was like, almost a year ago."
(wait it was?)
(Idk?? )
(I thought it was like a few months oof)
(it's fine I'll roll with it)
A smile appeared on Macha's face. "Yeah, exactly!" She helped him into the passenger seat of the car, getting into the driver's side.
(Oh, well I’m not very good with time judgment)
“I don’t know what I would do without you.” He smiled, reaching over and squeezing her hand.
(lol me neither, so I could be wrong too)
Macha smiled at him, a little sadly. I know what I'd do without him… she thought to herself, remembering the many nights where she'd filled the bathtub with water, so tempted to just sink down and forget how to breathe. He'd been the one thing keeping her going. The thought that she might see him again.
(Lol)
Tyler glanced over at her. “Are you okay?” He asked quietly, squeezing her hand .
Macha nodded, a little too quickly, offering him a sincere but wobbly smile. "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
“Are you sure?” He asked again, very worried that his absense had affected her.
"We'll talk later, when I fill you in," she assured him, having every intention to skip straight over the subject of what she'd attempted to do to herself.
“Oh..okay…” He turned and looked out the window as they drove, finally reaching the house again. “Oh I remember now. I like this house.” He commented quietly, stepping out of the car.
Macha smiled a little, locking the car and leading Tyler through the front door and into the living room. "How are you feeling, love?"
“Better.” He said, looking around the house, occasionally brushing his fingers agaisnt the walls.
Macha bit her lip, studying him. "How much do you remember?"
“About what specifically?” He asked, walking all around the house and examining all the rooms.
"What happened before you went comatose?" Macha followed him as he wandered the house, leaning on walls and letting her eyes trail worriedly after him.
“Ummm..I remember going to the hospital. And going into the hospital.” He glanced down at the papers in his hand. “I remember writing these. I was right there.” He said, pointing to a spot on the floor.
Macha held out a hand. “Could I see— Could I see those? What’s on them?”
“Yeah..” He handed them to her, a quiet blush creeping onto his cheeks.
(good afternoon, who are you)
Macha's eyes travelled slowly over each line, her heart just about melting as tears pricked the corners of her eyes. She could just about picture Tyler, desperately scrawling down line after line…. "Tyler…" Her voice was choked with emotion.
*how are you lol)
(Lol I’m good hbu?)
Tyler gazed at her while she read. “Just in case I ever forgot you..” He said quietly.
(I'm good)
She pulled him to her in a tight hug, swallowing a hard lump of emotion. "Was this– was this after they took me?"
(Good)
Tyler nodded, burying his face in her shoulder. “I didn’t want to risk it..”
:)
Macha held him tightly in her arms, rocking him gently back and forth. "I'm so sorry I left like that– I'm sorry I couldn't fight back harder, I'm sorry you were alone for so long…"
