(You too)
Aniña smiled at Sequoia, glad she liked the idea. She’d heard that not only did they sell the usual items, there was some other objects and things that were of the magical origin, “Great! We can go there in a little while then.”
Sequoia grinned and resumed stuffing herself until she was uncomfortably full. It felt like someone had shoved a pillow down her throat and left it lodged in her stomach, but it was absolutely worth it. If she had to pick a way to die, she would stuff herself with sugar until something burst. Thet didn't keep her from complaining to Aniña. "My stomach hurts," she whined, pressing a hand over her stomach. "Make it better."
Aniña chuckled, "I don't know how Liran. What do you want me to do?" She smiled warmly at Sequoia and placed her hand over her wife's, planting a kiss to her lips in the process. Gosh Sequoia was amazing, even when she was complaining about eating too much.
"Make it better," Sequoia whined into the kiss. She entwined their hands together, lowering them off her stomach and swinging them between her chair and Aniña's. Her stomach wasn't hurting bad enough to warrant any complaining, but she was still going to talk her wife's ear off.
“I don’t know how to…” Aniña murmured onto her wife’s lips, a smile playing on her lips, “Is there anything that I could do that might help?”
Sequoia laughed into the kiss and pulled away playfully. "Painkillers I think. Can you grab me what we have from your bedroom?"
Aniña nodded with a smile, "Of course I can." She placed one final kiss to Sequoia's nose, still smiling like crazy before she quickly scurried off out the dining room and up the stairs, heading towards her room as quickly as possible.
Sequoia shifted in the chair, trying to find a position that made her belly hurt less before eventually giving up the pursuit. No matter what position she sat in, she would be uncomfortable. Until Aniña came back with those painkillers she was going to need to be uncomfortable.
Aniña quickly opened the door to her room, hurrying to where the painkillers were and double checking she had the rights ones. Once she was sure, she sprinting back down to Sequoia, "Back! With the painkillers you requested."
"Thank you," Sequoia's voice was soaked in relief. The painkillers were quickly swallowed down, and after a few minutes relief bloomed through her stomach. Not having to deal with the actions of her consequences felt amazing. "I feel much better."
Aniña laughed lightly, shaking her head with a smile, "You shouldn't have eaten so much if you didn't want to be in pain, love." She took her seat again, crossing both legs up onto the seat.
Sequoia stuck out her tongue, nudging Aniña playfully with her elbow. "I know that! I just don't care because you can fix it."
Aniña shook her head with a smile, tucking a strand of hair out of her face, "You should care, though. Next time I might not be so nice." She teased, sticking her tongue out right back.
(Sorry I've been gone, this weekend has been PACKED with studying, volunteering, and scraping for state points at a debate tournament. I really haven't been on enough, and I probably won't be here as often as I'd like until finals are over next week. For that, I apologize.)
Sequoia giggled, leaning forward to capture Aniña's lips in a happy kiss. Everything felt really good today, despite the minor hiccup with her spells. She felt almost on top of the world. "So," she asked, after pulling away from her wife, "When are we going to go to town?"
(It’s fine, don’t worry about it)
Aniña shrugged a shoulder and looked down at her lap with a small frown, “Um… whenever you want to. When we’re dressed and ready to go out properly.” She looked up at Sequoia through her lashes with a small smile.
(Thanks so much.)
Sequoia smiled back, brushing a few spare crumbs off her nightdress and standing. She was incredibly ready to shop at a cool, trinket-filled market with her amazing wife. "I want to check out the market asap if that's okay. Can we go upstairs and get dressed and head out?"
Aniña nodded, uncrossed her legs and standing from her chair, her smile growing, “That sounds like a good plan.” She he,d out her hands for her wife to take, excitement growing inside of her at every passing moment,
Sequoia grasped Aniña's hands, pulling her wife off into her bedroom to get ready for the day. She didn't need to doll herself up too much, but she still wanted to look nice. If only to impress Aniña. "What kind of dress should I wear? Floofy skirt or slim skirt?"
Aniña rubbed at her neck. She wasn’t the best with clothes and had no idea what Sequoia was talking about, “Uh… the un… slim…skirt?” She tried her best at a smile before giving up, “Sorry, I’m not the best with clothes and outfits…”
"It's fine, you spent your life doing different things. Basically, big hoop skirt, or skirt that touches my thighs?" Sequoia held up the two dresses she was thinking about for Aniña to see. The first one was fairly standard for palace life- heavily decorated and quite lovely- while the second was much simpler fare.

Aniña dragged her eyes slowly over each one, imagining the dress on Sequoia and how it would look outside. And just for fun, looked Sequoia over once with the faintest hint of a smirk, “The thigh one.” She eventually said.
Sequoia blushed lightly as Aniña looked her over, though she kept her cool for the most part. Once a choice had been made, she looked it over, deciding that Aniña had made a good choice. She divested herself of her nightgown and began unbuttoning the back of the dress. "Good choice, Habibi.`This one is super comfy."
Aniña’s smirk grew a little, “Good. Also better when exploring the small spaces in the market,” She let out a breath, “I’m going back to my room to change. Be back in a few.” She places a hand in her pocket and walked out of her wife’s room.
Sequoia waved as Aniña left the room, stepping into her dress and fastening all the buttons with practiced ease once her wife was out of sight. Now that she was dressed, she needed to do her hair and makeup. A simple braid and some light makeup would work well, so she began her work.
Aniña quickly made her way into her room, grabbing a pair of brown trousers and a light, navy blue shirt to go with it. Sequoia might care about her appearance but she certainly didn’t. She tried her hair up into a messy high ponytail with a rubber band, slipped on some shoes and headed back to her wife.
Sequoia had finished brushing a light layer of makeup over her face and was furiously zipping on some riding boots. Her braid hung like a piece of black rope as it slid down her back. When she heard the door open she looked up with a smile. "How do I look?"
“Beautiful.” Aniña replied, slipping both hands into her pockets as she leaned against the door frame. She smiled back st her wife, giving her a once over, “Should we head out then if you’re ready?”
Sequoia hopped up off the bed, taking in Aniña's pants with a small measure of envy. The only pants she had were riding pants, and she couldn't wear those into town comfortably. "Let's get going. You look good too, by the way."
Aniña smiled a little, “Thanks, Liran. Although I don’t look as good as you.” She smirked and pushed herself off the wall and intertwined her fingers with Sequoias.
Sequoia dropped a kiss to their entwined hands. "We're different kinds of beautiful Habibi. Waterfalls are just as pretty as statues, but they're different. Just like us."
