Cerulean nodded "Darling I would rather you not tell me what to do. The last some someone did that, well, let's just say they aren't going to see the light if day again." He said, walking over to Shadow "and one more thing, I am a villain, treating others like inferiors is my speciality." He grinned, showing his pointed teeth
A big gust of wind flew throughout the cave as Zander returned. Hoping off he walked confidently towards the group, but his face told another story. He was annoyed very annoyed. "Cerulean? I see your back." Zander shoved his hands in his pocket and walked over to Mara's cell.
“Bitch…” Valkyrie muttered under her breath.
She turned back to Mara. “You still didn’t answer my questions…”
"I don't see the need to tell you." She narrowed her eyes at Valkyrie. She wasn't going to be friends or share anything with some who could betray her friends so easily. "Listen, I have a headache just answer," Zander looked up and kicked the bars to her cell aggressively, "Her damn question!" His voice echoed. Mara flinched and moved further away from him. His breath came out short and fast and as soon as he realized what he had done he fixed his hair and stood tall again. "I'm leaving for a bit." Zander left to his room and as soon as he got there he pulled out vodka, which he didn't drink much unless he was stressed.

He shrugged "I come when i want to, not when I need to." Cerulean looked at the cage in curiosity "who's this pretty little thing?" He asked, slowly grinning
“You have no idea what I’ve been through…” Valkyrie muttered through the bars, “And also just know I wasn’t out to kill him… only to injure him and scare him off. I want to say I’m sorry, but I’m not…”
She let out a long, tired sigh.
“We’re not friends, but I’m not out to hurt you any more than necessary.”
(The amount of stress in this scene is giving me stress lmao)
(Quincy is somewhere…… Where should she be?)
(Quincy is somewhere…… Where should she be?)
(In the cave with the rest of the main crew)
"Bitch, I don't care if you are going to hurt me or not, I won't tell you anything!" Mara then turned to Cerulean and spat at him. She wasn't going to let any of them get what they want. Walking to the other side of the cell she sat against the wall and glared at the both of they. "You can leave now." The only one she was truly worried about was Zander.
"I can make you speak, but I don't want to. You are amusing to watch." He said, chuckling darkly
“I understand…” Valkyrie sighed. She walked away from the cage a few paces. She thought she should probably ask about their plans, but not in front of a prisoner, and she also wanted to avoid asking too many questions:
"You can't touch me or you'll have to deal with Zander!" She wasn't scared of this guy and she wasn't going to pretend to be either. As Zander sat at his desk in his room he went over all the paper that was there and began to organize it.
"Trust me Darling, I do t need to touch you to make you talk." He smiled darkly and walked further into the cave
Mara clicked her tongue and crossed her arms. All the people here are as crazy as she first had thought. Oliver what had carefully as Nox pull the egg closer. "So it shouldn't be long before it hatches right?" Also moving towards Nox he sat against her and smiled at his egg. Although his parents were dead Nox remained him of his mom, even if Nox is a dragon.
Lucky watched the interaction of Oliver and Nox. It reminded her of when she and her mother sat togather, watching the stars. It had been so long since she had passed on.
Valkyrie glared at Cerulean but said nothing. Her arms were crossed over her front, which gave all of her tension away.
Nox nodded her head slowly. Be patient, young one. It won't be long at all…
She tucked the egg halfway under her black wing, then felt another couple of cracks spring up on its surface. Nox was excited, too.
Cerulean retreated to the darkest part of the cave and called Shadow there too. She came and he leaned against her. He thickened the shadows near his place to blend in more and watched the new girl
As Zander was looking through paperwork at some point he fell asleep at his desk. When he was asleep is the only time when he looks innocent and normal, unlike most times when he has a stone face. He dreamed of his mother and the girl who had killed her right in their home and in front of him. He searched for her till one day she just seemed to show up back in the village and had forgotten everything. An odd one she was as everyone praised her for some reason he did not know. And he hated her.
Mara sat restlessly in her cell, she wanted out to get some fresh air, but that wouldn't happen, not with these people at least. She sat in silence eating her food and repeating the conversation she had with everyone today, it may become useful. It would help if they talk about nonsense when she was around so she could figure something out that may help her escape. But, for now she'll just wait for the right time.
Oliver fell asleep against Nox. She was warm and comforting. He hoped his egg would be hatched by the time he woke up. Oliver dreamed of many possibilities of how his new dragon was going to be and it was exciting.
Valkyrie had found a place to sleep that night. She tried to push all the guilt away as she laid there, and fell asleep surprisingly easily.
Nox saw that Oliver had fallen asleep and laid her head down next to him, letting out a low, happy rumbling sound. Aurelius had somewhat been watching and also came to lay down with his dragon. He fell asleep quickly; he was a lot more exhausted than he realized, between all of the action they'd been through and him still trying to recover from his injuries.
Meanwhile, Pollux was up and pacing; he had helped this healer all he could, but there was just so much more hurt here than he could manage to witness right now. He was extremely tired and in pain, but so nervous and perhaps even traumatized that he couldn't have slept if he tried. Pollux had seen people die before… he had even had people die because he couldn't do enough to save them. But this was more than he'd ever experienced. He had to watch his village burn alive, lost his dragon, and came to a temporary safe place only to be reminded of all the death.
Farron, who’s been doing nothing this entire time and really jsut thinking and staying out of people’s way, saw Pollux pacing and walked over, “Hey, you right?”
Lucky left frost inside the cave and crawled towards the mouth. She sighed and curled up there.
"Yeah… I think so…" Pollux murmured, running a hand through his hair, "I've seen a hell of a lot over these past couple of days is all. I'm freaking out just a tiny bit, if I'm being honest."
Farron nodded slow,y, slipping a hand in his pocket, “Just sit and relax for a bit, Pollux. You’ve done enough for these people and need rest after everything that’s happened.”
"I know, I know… I don't think I could sleep if I tried though," he replied.
Pollux hadn't noticed before, but his hands were shaking a little bit. He hid them in his pockets.
“Pollux, one you’re shaking, two, you’re over worked. You don’t have to sleep just… sit for a little while… please.” Farron said gently, placing a hand on the boys shoulder.
"It's… it's because I'm nervous…" Pollux muttered.
He leaned back against one of the walls and slid down until he was sitting.
"Thanks for trying to look out for me though… It means a lot. How are you holding up after all this?"
