Omg I'm so sorry it is Kat not Paige

"Ok so now I just have to concentrate and try to make the plants grow" Kat focused very hard while pointing both of her hands towards the plant. She waited for a while and nothing was happening and she was getting discouraged but then suddenly the plant grew barely an inch but it was enough to make Kat smile.

"great!' said luma " that is a good start! I wasnt expecting all that much anyway, you see your true power lies in some kind of mental ability that i'm not familiar with." he explained. " now lets see if we cant try using the other side of your aura. I need you to concentrate and reach deep within focus on pulling a little of that power out and forming it into a small orb like the one that was there earlier, and dont worry if it looks like a ball of fire of lighting or something like that it is normal."

" I can do this. I'm ready" Kat starting reaching deep inside of her mind trying to pull out a little of the power that was within her. She is trying very hard to pull out an orb but she can't get what she is looking for and gets disapointed. Several minutes later, though the little orb suddenly appears in front of her and it looks like a little ball fo fire. She is so moved by the fact that she made this that she starts crying.

"ok.." said luma nervously, "There's no need to cry, just focus on that orb a little more ok?" said luma, "now what we're gonna try now is simple, I just want you to will that orb to go to that end of the terrace and then back here" said luma, gesturing to the far end of the terrace, " here I'll show you" luma summoned a ball of red-gold flames, focusing on it he let it fly to the far end of the terrace and back.

Concentrating very hard moving the orb was slowly becoming more and more easy and this time the orb quicker then it had the previous times. " Yay" Kat exclaimed excitetly.

Luma grinned, "ok now its time to try a little combat magic, now mind you most people master passive spells first but im no trainer so we're just gonna keep rolling," said luma confidently as he summoned more fireballs " now what you are gonna do is use that aura ball is more or less throw it at me, dont worry about hurting me i can fend it off for myself," said luma grinning some more as he took a pace back.

" I've got this. Hear I go" Kat motioned with her hands to throw the aura ball and it almost hit Luma in the face but he dogded it at the last moment.

(Luma is a better fighter than that! :) )
Luma grined nice one! now i want you to try again, but this time I want you to split the orb into two and throw them both at me simultaniously," said luma grinning then directing the fireballs around him they merged into a glowing sheild, "And this time dont aim for my face" said luma grinning.

"Ok I can do that." Kat started to focus all fo the energy of her aura on this little ball of fire and then instantley it broke into two different balls. Seconds later she threw them simultaniously at Luma."I can't belive I was able to do that. it was amazing. Thanks Luma"

"Ooooo my first weapon. I'm very excited." Kat starts focusing her power on creating her very first weapon with her power. A couple seconds later a small dager appears in her hands. She smiles a huge smile.

Ok that's fine because I'm only here for another 30 min anyways

Luma summoned his fireblade once more, "Huh, well try shifting to a more comfortable shape then, just concentrate on it taking the form of your normal weapon," he said, " I think the reason it didnt take that form originally is beacuse you were focusing on a weapon, any weapon, and you didnt think about having to use it,"

" So now I try to make it my sword." Kat concentrated extremely hard on making her weapon a sword this time and it did become. "Yes I'm so excited. I didn't think I'd be able to do it on the first try."

"It's not like it's a super hard thing to do," Luma dropped his heild summoning another fireblade. " now lets see how well u hold up in a duel." he said with a grin as he took an offensive stance
(fyi Luma is a skilled fighter, also I may not be that quick to reply atm)

Kat starting preparing to duel Luma but she was nervous because he seemed so expericend. (BTW I won't be back until tomorrow morning.)

(OK) Luma relaxed his stance a little noting that kat was tense. "dont worry about it Kat. we're buddies so it dont matter who wins and who loses, heck it could even be u…" he said witha reassuring smile.

Kat gets ready to fight. She's excited because she has never fought anyone this advanced before. "Ok lets do this."
