“Here!” He said digging out the sandwich from 10 minutes ago “I bought this from that nice cafe down the road. You can have half!” He said giving her one half
Basil started moving his tail around annoyed by the pain. He hoped it didn't make too much noise. But the sound might just reach the alley.
Val looked at the sandwich for a second. She was really hungry but like she didn't really trust the boy. She took the half ”thank you, ” she said before she took a bite.
Raven just got all the pieces out. She shifted back into a human. "Can you shift back?" She asked.
He shook his head No. He was in too much pain to even think about changing.
Raven sighed as she pulled some bandages out of her pocket. "It's not much but…" She said putting it on the worse cuts.
Val looked at the sandwich for a second. She was really hungry but like she didn't really trust the boy. She took the half ”thank you, ” she said before she took a bite.
“You’re welcome!” He said as he took a big bite of his sandwich. Not eating for 2 days did a little something to you
Basil nodded and stayed there. He kept still hoping no patrols entered, but no one ever did.
She ate the sandwich quickly and then heard noises coming from a building near the alley. Out of instinct she turned into a fox.
Raven looked at her work. Only one of the major cuts was left unwrapped. "Is that better?" Nykidia asked.
He nodded a little then got to his feet slowly and sat down in a area that didn't have glass.
Killian shoved the sandwich in his mouth and quickly shifted into a small kitten
Raven walked over and sat next to him. "Will you be OK?"
He nodded. It would take a while to turn but he was ok. It was only his stupidity that injured him.
"Do you think you will be able to shift back soon?" Raven asked.
He shook his head no then looked around the room. Hoping it was safe enough.
"Well kill me now I guess." She said. "Is the second floor safe?" she asked. If they could get to a high view point the more safe she would feel.
Basil thought for a second before he nodded and stood walking to the closed door slowly.
Raven followed him and pushed the door open.
He padded to the stairs and walked up them. He didn't know which room to pick.
Raven followed. "Could we go somewhere with an assess to the roof?" she asked.
Basil nodded and walked over to the room that connected to the fire escape. He sat in front of the door realizing his fluffy paws wouldn't be able to open the door.
Raven chuckled at this and open the door for him, This looked like an owner letting his cat out except that she was letting a leopard in.
Basil walked in the room and over to the corner of the room and sat down.
Raven looked at the fire exit. That's a good way to the roof.
Basil laid down on the floor and stretched out a bit. He felt nice and warm in his fur.
Raven laughed at this. She walked over and layed down next to him. "My name is Raven by the way. I know you can't tell me yours right now but when you turn back can you?"
He nodded then unsheathed his claws and started scratching the floor.
"Ha." She said staring at the ceiling.
After a minute he moved his paw away from the area he had been scratching. On the floor read the letters B A S I L. They looked awful but it was recognizable enough.
