"Oh yeah? Well you're… Um… Splendid, superb, and sublime!" Lilah declared with a grin.
"Oh yeah? Well you're… Um… Splendid, superb, and sublime!" Lilah declared with a grin.
“Well, I can top that with majestic, beautiful and well-rounded-in-vocabulary!”
Lilah giggled and pecked his lips quickly. “You’re incredible, fascinating, and marvelous.”
Cameron kissed her lips back. “You’re interesting, deep, and lovely.”
“You are astonishing and brilliant and excellent,” Lilah said, ending each word with a kiss.
“You are exquisite, unique and bright,” Cameron returned with kisses of his own.
“You’re fantastic, phenomenal, and remarkable. Can I just win now?” Lilah asked, pressing her lips to his for a moment longer.
Cameron huffed jokingly and pressed back. “Yes you may. My wonderful lady.”
“My handsome husband,” Lilah replied with a slight giggle.
The elevator dinged, signaling that they had finally reached the correct floor, and Lilah sighed. And now they must go out in public again…
Cameron was unable to respond with an alliteration of his own.
“Oh, we’re here.” He smiled down at her. “Let’s go, then.” He stuck his hand put for her.
Lilah took his hand with a grin and stepped out of the elevator. “Yes, let’s. I think they have a table reserved for us somewhere…”
A strict-looking greeter greeted them when the elevator closed behind them. Cameron spoke to him in soft, unsure French, and the pair was led back to their booth.
“Oh, a booth! Great!” Lilah said, grinning as she sat down. To her, booths were much better than tables. More comfortable and definitely more private.
Cameron thanked the grumpy greeter and sat across from her, exhaling softly.
“Really. This is great.”
Lilah smiled at him and reached her legs over to wrap them around his. “It is. This is a very nice restaurant.”
Cameron smiled and grabbed her hands in his. “It is a wonderful restaurant.”
“It’s pretty,” Lilah mused as she looked around at the red and gold decor. The lights were dimmed, giving the area a romantic feel as it mixed with soft music and the muted conversations.
Cameron looked around with her, then out the large widows. It overlooked the pretty stretch of Paris, the lights glittering and shining romantically under them.
Lilah glanced out the windows just after Cameron did. She smiled as she looked out for a bit, then turned back to Cameron.
“Hey, Cam?” she said softly, squeezing his hands.
Cameron looked at her when she said his name, smiling slightly and nodding. “Yeah, Lilah?”
Lilah grinned and leaned forward a bit. “I love you. A lot.”
Cameron leaned forward to meet her, so their noses were touching. “I love you a lot too.”
With a light giggle, Lilah pecked his lips before leaning back in her seat. “So, what do you think you’ll get?”
Cameron pecked her back yet didn’t lean back. “Dunno. Our elbows are on the menus.”
“We should probably move them then,” Lilah laughed lightly, starting to pull her hands from his.
Cameron kept a soft grip on them. “Noooo. I like holding your hands.”
Lilah grinned and leaned forward again to kiss him softly. “I like holding your hands, too.”
Cameron met her in the kiss, smiling slightly in it. “I love you.”
“Love you, too,” Lilah said with a slight giggle as she kissed him one last time before leaning back again.
Cameron whined softly for her and wiggled forward to peck her lips. “I love you more.”
