"Mmhm. Morning, Andion," Blaine yawned, rolling over to face him. "I was falling in my dream, in case you were wondering what woke me."
"Mmhm. Morning, Andion," Blaine yawned, rolling over to face him. "I was falling in my dream, in case you were wondering what woke me."
“Ah, those dreams suck.” Andion replied with a small shake of his head.
“They do,” Blaine agreed, moving to sit up. She kept the blankets wrapped around her for warmth and smiled at Andion. “What’s the plan for today, love?”
Andion shrugged, combing though his hair with his fingers, “Have you ever explored the sea side part of town? If not we can do that.”
“I have not. That sounds like a good idea… I suppose that would involve getting dressed, though, wouldn’t it?” Blaine chuckled, dropping the sheets and getting to her feet.
Andion bummed his response as he splashed some water on his face, drying it on his sleeve, “That would be a good idea, love.”
“Yeah, yeah. Don’t worry, I’m getting there,” Blaine chuckled as she pulled some clothes on.
Andion let out a small laugh with a shake of his head, “Whatever you say. But hurry up.”
“Wow, so patient,” Blaine teased with a grin. “I’m ready if you are.”
Andion grinned and nodded, “Yup, come on.” He grabbed Blaine’s hand and lead them out the door.
Blaine chuckled and squeezed his hand gently. “Breakfast first? Any place you know?”
Andion thought for a few moments, “Uh, kinda. There’s this place that does these cheesy flat breads but that’s like the only thing I can think of now.”
Blaine chuckled a bit. “Maybe we could do that for lunch. We could explore and see if we can find anywhere.”
Andion nodded, “Alrighty, that sounds like a good idea.” He led them outside and along the old wooden pathway by the shoreline, the waves chrashing against them gently with the early morning breeze.
Blaine looked around, a soft expression on her face. “It’s so peaceful here,” she said softly. “I hope we can find a place like this one day…”
Andion nodded, “Yeah, it is. You never know, maybe there will be a place like this in Maradova.”
“Maybe. I hope so,” Blaine said, nodding slowly. “That would be nice.”
Andion hummed his agreement, “It would be, yeah. We could settle down there if you wanted too.”
“Honestly, I don’t care where we live as long as we’re not being hunted down and I’m with you,” Blaine said, smiling up at him.
Andion chuckled with a small nod, “That’s true. As long as it’s peaceful too.”
“That too,” Blaine chuckled. “We don’t want to go live somewhere that we might get into different trouble.”
“Well, hopefully no one in Maradova knows who we are so it shouldn’t be a problem.” Andion shrugged.
Blaine clicked her tongue, nodding slowly. “Mmhm… I certainly hope so…”
“Well have to wait and see then, won’t we?” Andion gave Blaine’s hand a squeeze as he led them into the small sea side village.
“Now I’m just going to daydream about it,” Blaine joked with a soft chuckle as she looked around the village. She spotted a small tavern a few buildings down and pointed it out to Andion. “Hey, I wonder if they have good food.”
“We can try. It just be new since I’ve never seen it before.” Andion shrugged a shoulder and led them over.
Blaine looked up at the building as they neared it. “‘The Raining Sky’… Interesting name for a tavern,” she chuckled.
“I like it,” Andion replied, as he pushed open the door, “Seems like a pretty name.”
“It is. Just not something I’d expect,” Blaine agreed, looking around the place as she stepped inside.
The place was decorated much like a underwater grotto of sorts. Small colourful followers popped up and high lights tinted blue gave the place an underwater feel, “This is… nice.”
