Castor was surprised. "Wait… so you do know what this is? I tried researching, but it's almost impossible."
Castor was surprised. "Wait… so you do know what this is? I tried researching, but it's almost impossible."
Emori nodded. "Its called a Wendigo Shifter. Awful creatures." she said with a shudder. "You found one?"
Castor confirmed, "I was at a gas station yesterday, and one walked out of the convenience store. Then, he just looked human. He was acting suspicious, so I followed him into the woods behind, and he transformed into this. He ate a bear, so I snapped a picture for later reference and bailed. I figured I probably couldn't take him in a fight, no matter how strong I might actually be. I take it you've encountered one before?"
Emori's face went pale. The cashier was a freaking Wendigo Shifter? She nodded stiffly. "Wendigo Shifters are more on the… SuperNatural side. Sort of mutant-like things that people encounter, but nobody actually believes the people who see them. Nasty things…" she said shakily.
"Are they dangerous? I mean… should we do something? Tell someone who will believe us?" Castor asked, more than a little concerned. He continued, "I've had my fair share of encounters with weird monsters and people with powers, but never anything quite like this."
Emori looked at him in surprise. She let herself open her dragon-nostrils and… He wasn't a normal human! She kept a look of calm on her face, and shook her head. "Don't tell anybody. If we leave it alone, it will leave us alone."
"That's good. As long as he's not hostile, I'm not overly concerned, but I will say I'm very curious about it all, and if I can learn more, there's nothing that will be able to stop me," Castor replied, taking another sip of his coffee.
Emori nodded. "They hide out as humans, but their usually really really tall. Not to be confused with basket-ball players of course… They have really good noses, so if he comes into the city he'd be able to find you in an instant." she explained.
"Smell me? Would I not just smell like other humans?" Castor asked, alarmed. Did she know? Could she sense it? Was she not a human, either?
"Every human smells different." she said. "For instance while some smell like mint and candles, others smell like old pizza."
"I'm guessing I'm the latter, then?" Castor joked. He now was almost certain his instinct was right, and that she wasn't human. She could smell him too.
"How should I know? I can't smell you." she said with a laugh, and she couldn't. She wasn't using her scent abilities.
(I don't mind! Also, my character looks severely underpowered compared to everyone else, but I guess we'll see where that goes.)
(My character legit only has one power. ._. I think I have won the under powered. Also good morning.)

( you could always gain abilities! )
"Fair enough," Castor replied. "Um… hey, how about I give you my phone number and email address, so if you see a Shifter again, see anything, or learn anything new, we can stay in touch. I don't have anyone else to talk to who won't think I've lost my mind."
Emori nodded, and handed typed her number into his phone.

(Mine only has one power, too. But I'm sure in my case I can elaborate on it.)
(… so what’s going on?)
Castor wrote down his contact information on a sticky note and gave it to Emori.
"Hey, I didn't catch your name," he said, "I'm Castor."
( Castor an Emori are talking about Orion in a coffee shop )
Emori smiled and took the sticky note. "I'm Emori. But you can just call me Pocky." she insisted. "Most people do."
(Oh okay.)
When Lucile finally had then control to get out of bed, she did her normal routine. Then she laid on the floor like a slug. She wanted to move like a slug too, but atlas, she had to stand up and walk like a human. She stood up and tidied her clothes and hairs, went outside for a stroll, breath in the fresh air, and to get some coffee.
Lucille had come into the coffee shop, and Castor noticed right away. She had been at the gas station the previous day, but he wasn't sure if she was aware of what had played out there.
Pocky's eyes traveled over to the girl that walked in. She knew her! It was the girl from the gas-station! But the girl probably didn't recognize Pocky… hopefully.
Lucille saw the girl, who’s scent was still mysterious and covered up. She immediately made her scent as human as possible. She made her way to the cashier. She ordered a drink and looked around the store while waiting for her drink.
Castor debated whether or not to strike up a conversation with Lucille, too. Maybe she hadn't seen anything.
Orion groaned as he sat up, his head throbbing. The last thing he remembered from the night before was killing the animal, then things blacked out. He blinked a few times, his surroundings pitch black. His thermal vision set in, and he seemed to be in a generally cool area. There was the sound of water dripping, and he guessed that he was in a cave-like area.
He inhaled sharply, almost gagging at the strong smell of blood and something dead. He pushed to his feet, and his clothes felt soaked in something. Blood? He wiped it from around his mouth and onto the back of his hand. He made his way through the cave, trying to find an exit, when his foot hit something soft. He looked down and felt sick to his stomach when his eyes landed upon the mauled body of an older man. “Oh shit..” he muttered.
Lucille could smell covered up scents, air was her specialty. It just took a lot more effort and was a lot more noticeable. Lucille quietly debated whether or not to smell the covered scent. “Lu-“
“That’s me.” Lucille smiled, she took the coffee and went to sit down.
Orion broke into an unnaturally fast sprint, wanting to get away from the body. He had never killed and eaten a human before, but he couldn’t say that he was suprised. Wendigo’s are people who used to be human, but they committed caninalism at some point. The hunger would drive them insane until they because the murderous creatures. But as far as he could remember he never killed anyone.
He stumbled from the cave, squinting from the light. He ran through the woods towards the edge of the town where his small house was. All he wanted to do was scrub the man’s blood from his clothes and skin.
Castor turned back to Emori. "Hey, Pocky… I saw that girl at the gas station yesterday," he whispered.
Lucille wanted to say to them, “Well no duh, i saw you too, loser.” But she quietly listened to them and sipped her warm coffee.
(Also sorry if I seem passive aggressive or something, I’m a little tired.)
