It was a neat day in the mansion of M and Pax. M and Pax were lounging newr the pool, Pax’s head dangling near the water.
M was chuckling softly, inching closer to the surface, bringing Pax’s head closer and closer.

North laid in the grass on her back, looking up at the sky and trying to ignore M and Pax, with great difficulty.
(that was crap but i'm in a hurry)

M was shaking gently with laughter as the dozing Pax slid closer and closer. Pax shifted but didn’t wake.

"M, don't be mean." North said quietly, turning her head to face them, a small smile flickering across her face.

M rolled his eyes at her, shushing her. “It’ll be fine,” He whispered back, shifting closer so his own toes were hanging off the pool edge.

"How does he even put up with you?" She replied exasperatedly, turning back away from him.

M laughed softly and gently stroked the side of Pax’s face. Pax stirred, blinking his eyes open slowly.

North sighed and sat up, walking over to them and sitting down at the pools edge. “Why does it have to be summer for so long?”

M glanced up at her, blinking. “It’s still spring. Well, I like to think of it as that really nice in between. Why?”

"It's always too hot after winter is over." She replied, letting her feet dangle in the water.

Pax snuffled up at them from his spot at the pool. “Why am I hanging upside down?”
M ignored his husband. “It is. But I was in the mood for some heat.”

"Mm..I guess it's not horrible." North glanced over at Pax, and then back at M. "Would you like to tell him why he's hanging upside down?" She said, laughing a little.

“Hmmm… no. I think he likes hanging out.” He smiled at his husband, who looked confused.

“The resemblance is not shocking! Your stupidity is shocking!”
