I don't know how, but yes I did hear. And I don't think you're a freak. And you're the same Phoenix that I have known for years. Just because you look different doesn't mean that you are different. Addi replied, attempting to calm down her friend.
Jay turned to Lucille. "Ok so normally I can control small devices and pieces of big things like ships and stuff, but I guess the planet amplified my range and strength somehow."
“… I don’t know whether to squeal in excitement or scream in fear.” Lucille said flatly.
Jay laughed. "I would go with excitement, but whatever floats your boat."
“Let’s just go get the satellite…”
(@Natasha This is Phoenix)
Hearing the others begin to leave, she again approached the doors.
"You might be fine with me," Phoenix transmitted to Addi, "but what about the others? they don't know me as well."
(Oops! Yeah, sorry. I got mixed up. Lemme just fix tat.)
Jay literally is half-cyborg. And Aspen accepted him right away. Everyone did. She argued gently.
"but he's still human, just with enhancements," Phoenix argued back miserably, "not a freak like me."
Addison mentally cleared her throat. And all of us have powers on this planet. I am talking to you mentally. We all have a bunch of powers that we don't even know about. You'r not alone hermana. We're all trying to figure this out. We're stronger if we're together. She encouraged, determined to get her friend to come out of the ship.
"Are you sure?" she asked hesitantly. If Addi thought she was okay, maybe the others would, too…?
"Okay."
She took a deep breath, bracing herself, and slowly walked out of the ship to meet her teammates.
Addi turned to look at her friend and gave her an encouraging smile.
(hi sorry for vanishing) Jay saw Phoenix finally leaving the ship. "Hey, nice of you to join us!"
(this is what her wings look like, except, you know, on a girl: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2NMbbo390JU/VgruLBiTgNI/AAAAAAAAu7A/JZ2bQcskj4o/w1200-h630-p-k-no-nu/03.jpg
This is what her face tattoos look like, except hers are indigo: https://lumiere-a.akamaihd.net/v1/images/ahsoka-tano-rebelss3_a020c09e.jpeg?region=0%2C0%2C1560%2C878&width=768 )
Seeing their gazes on her, she folded her wings as close as she could behind her and pulled her now green and indigo streaked hair in front of her face, trying to block her markings and glowing green eyes.
She bit her lip with a pointed canine and gave a small wave, "Hi everyone."
Addi smiled. "You look beautiful Phoenix." Then suddenly…………………………………………….Addison felt this weird sensation between her shoulder blades. Like a hive of bees was buzzing around there.
"Umm………….would you guys excuse me for a second?' She asked, then ducked into one of the bathrooms. As soon as she closed the door, hawk-like green and blue colored wings appeared. She cringed, then looked at herself in the mirror. What??
Jay frowned as she ran. "Okay…"
"so…" Phoenix said slowly, "what's the plan…?"
They were still staring at her. Addi had gone back on the ship. What now?
Jay shrugged. "I've got a sonar function that might help us find the satellite, I just don't know if it'll work or not."
Addison stared at the way-to-big wings that she now had. Well…..at least Phoenix won't be alone now. She walked out and went over to Phoenix. "So this is officially the freakiest planet ever." She stated, trying to control her hyperactive wings by holding them around herself.
She stared at Addi. Addi was… Like her? She thought she was the only one off planet.
"You have wings like me," she breathed.
Jay laughed a little. "Dude, the planet's doing weird things to everybody. I looked like a neon chameleon earlier."
Addison nodded. "And I have these crazy tattoos in a different language that I can understand but have never seen in my life if you haven't noticed."
Aspen pushed herself off from the back of the crowd. “I don’t know what it is… I’m not affected at all.” She said, laughing at the colors all over everyone’s bodies.
Addi laughed with her. "We all do look kind of ridiculous, don't we?" She said good-naturedly.
"Everyone looks like…" Phoenix murmured, gazing at her comrades, "Everyone looks like they're home."
