Adeliza walked speedily to class, how embarassing. She made sure not to bump into any other students on her way to her classroom.

(I think I'll just have Blair get into some trouble about swearing out loud in gym class. :P)

Blair frowned to herself, carrying the detention slip with her as she made her way to her next class. This wasn't the first time she'd gotten into trouble over her language, but it was just as frustrating. Why do people have to be so frickin' politically correct all the time? she thought, sitting down in her desk. And why should I do the same? She didn't even realize that as she sat down, her slip fell onto the floor next to a brown-haired Sophomore's converse.

Adeliza felt something land by her foot, so she looked down. It was a detention slip. Oh how the world loves to taunt me. She thought, remembering she had her own slip in her jean pocket. Adeliza turned to the student next to her and gave her the slip, “I think this is yours.”

Blair's eyes widened and her face flushed in embarrassment. "Oh, uh…yeah, that's mine," she said, taking the slip. "Nothing horrible, I promise. I just, uh…swore out loud."

Adeliza chuckled, “Almost everyone I know gets a slip for that within the first few weeks of school.”
