Santiago made his way through the woods on the path towards his cabin. He felt half asleep and rubbed at his eyes. The path was as decently clear, but there was a good amount of thick brush and trees around him.
Chelsea sat in a branch in a big tree, perfectly concealed. She grinned as she saw Scarlet enter the woods.
(Oh no everyone’s stalking Scarlet lol)
Scarlet fidgeted in her seat uncomfortably, on edge. At every rustle If leaves that sounded from the woods she jumped, imagining the Queen’s cavalry descending upon her.
(Well, she is the princess. xD)
“Oh wow looksie, the little princess has escaped.” Chelsea murmured, grinning madly. Imagine if all the people heard that news.
(XD)
(Oh no Chelsea)
(Harper's not stalking! She just accidentally stumbled on them and doesn't know what to do.)
Harper suddenly had an idea. If Scarlet remembered her, she would remember their special 'call'. She put her hands to her mouth and imitated a bird call that she and Scarlet had made up all those years ago.
Chelsea looked around, “Wow I’m not the only person who’s noticed the red haired princess.”
(Wait, remind me how Scarlet knows Harper again? Sorry I'm getting all the characters a bit mixed up)

(I didn't really say anything, but Harper and her sister used to work in the palace as cover, but Harper and Aubrey ran away when Harper was ten.)
(Got it. How much does Scarlet know about Harper?)
(Got it. How much does Scarlet know about Harper?)
(I'm not sure. I'm guessing bc they have a secret call that they were kind of friends. But you can choose.)
(okies here I go:)
Scarlet sat up straight in her street as if an electric shock had shot through her. Her coppery eyes went wide as she sprang up from her seat, scanning the leafy fiolage. "Harper?", she called softly, voice trembling with longing to see her old friend again.
Harper smiled. She dropped out of the foliage. "Hey Scarlet." She said quietly, giving her old friend a small smile.
Scarlet rushed forward to embrace her friend, eyes welling up with tears again. "She– she didn't kill you either?"
Harper hugged Scarlet back tightly. "No. We ran away. But her guards just about killed me twice today." She said after a minute.
So the girl knows the princess….knew I couldn't trust her… Cade thought to himself. He on sheathed his knife and held it at his side, ready to strike.
“Don’t do it.” Chelsea said, appearing next to Cade, “That’s literally the dumbest thing to do right now.”
(Wait…………………………..are we allowed to have powers? Like maybe not really big ones, but small ones??? Or maybe just one??)
"Oh thank the lord. And your sister?" Scarlet gripped Harper tightly.
Cade jumped as the girl appeared next to him. "What the hell?!" He whispered through clenched teeth. "Who the hell are you?!"
"She's okay. And as overprotective as ever." Harper replied.
“I’m the daughter of the Cheshire Cat, Chelsea. Pleased to meet you.” She grinned, she held out a hand.
He didn't shake her hand. "And why should I trust you?" Cade asked, trying to back away in the small tree without falling out.
Scarlet's voice quivered with relief. "A miracle. Do you remember Quinn?", she asked, leading Harper over to the table.
“You don’t have to, and probably shouldn’t. I’m just saying the truth. You’re outnumbered, not to add she probably has more knife skills than you.” Chelsea said.
Harper nodded, realization dawning on her face. So THAT'S why she looked so familiar. She thought, letting Scarlet lead her over to the table.
Cade scoffed, his voice rising to a normal volume. "She's a small little precious princess. What damage could she possibly do?"
Harper used her free hand to pull off her hood, feeling comfortable taking it off now.
