"What do you mean?"

Scout looked confused. "I mean I was born four months ago? I dunno…"

"Then how where you left alone? I mean your four months it's dangerous!"

"I'm fine! I mean, I can hunt okay, I… no, I can't fight… I know how to find safe water in the woods! I could survive, at least for a little while!" He seemed cheerful enough.

"Well being a dragon is way different. It's always your self first. I even fell down over a bird. A BIRD!"

"I mean a stupid bird! Can you believe it!"

Scout nodded. "I frequently get bested by rocks and tree roots and the like. I'm very clumsy."

"Well did anyone ever care for you?" Andie said.

(Sorry I went to Easter service and then to my grandma's house)
"Yeah! My parents care about me. I mean, it's fairly typical for young animals to stumble over their paws when they're learning to walk and stuff, I just sort of retained that."

"That must be nice."

"My parents or being clumsy?" Scout cocked his head to the side, confused.

"Being cared for. We dragons are never care for."

"Why not?"

"I told you. Dragons are all like 'Its all about me! At least I don't eat my poo like that guy! IM THE BEST RAWR!' So ya dragons don't really care at all."

"Huh, I know that foxes are generally sort of loners, but they'll get help if they need it. They're taught necessary survival skills at a young age."

Kira followed Scout's scent, she got distracted by something else and lost him out of sight

Scout sniffed the air. "Is that… Kira?" He looked around for her. "Kira? Are you there?"

Kira heard Scout calling her name "Scout! Its mee!" She said running towards the sound, she spotted Scout, she smiled at him and went running rowards him, but she also spotted another huge animal next to him, her smile instantly faded, she stopped abruptly and looked terrified at the creature upon her "Scout, what is that" she said looking terrified at the creature's eyes as she started to back away slowly, her back curved upwards, she was prepared in an attacking position if something happened "Scout, back away slowly before you get hurt" she said not breaking eye contact

"This is Andie! She won't hurt you!" Scout wagged his tail a bit, looking up at the dragon.

"Eek! What are you doing!"
