Mr. Gosey straightened up, his posture better than what they’ve seen it in ages. His eyes sparkled like a pair of bright diamonds.
“What could go wrong is my question. It is rhetoric! Our problems are those we can evade with ease. We will go as soon as I can print out permission forums for your parents to sign. Ah, yes, we will be going to… Los Angeles, California. It is the trip of a lifetime!”
(oof they're still going on the dc trip just breaking off from the group and sneaking away its sorta illegal to cross into America voluntarily)
(Oh okay, I was originally going to do DC then I was like wait)
I'm going to die in the city of angels. Seems fitting.
Kian stretched his hands over his head before settling into a position of pure nonchalance even though he was brimming with energy. "Dude. Briar. It's freedom. Who cares about being arrested? Who wants to stay here? Where everyone tells you what to do and how to live your life? Why settle when there's an entire world out there that we know nothing about?"
"Look, I'm not gonna tell people what you're doing, but I- I don't wanna go. Besides, it looks to only be the both of you wanting to go at the moment. I find it quite comfortable living a life free of crime and guilt, and I hope to continue living that life." Briar sat at his desk with a soft huff and got to work preparing for class.
(Hey, can I join? I almost have a character ready.)
