Ryker moved around to the other side, where its mouth would be. “You can only hit it in the mouth, so don’t even try on the fur or body,” he said with gritted teeth. The monster was bringing in bad memories.

"No, really? I though I could just slice it's hide." She said sarcastically. "Sorry, I get sarcastic in bad situations."

"wha-? Kaden that's not fair" Ales said in outrage

“So let’s g-… what the heck is that?” Elizabeth said as she got out the door, stepping outside.

He nodded, keeping his eyes trained on the lion. “You need to catch it by surprise, though,” he warned. He couldn’t let any of them die because of this stupid lion.

He just grabbed her arm to keep her behind him. He shadowtraveled them to the other girls. "You three, stay here. If any one of you tried to intervene you'll be dealing with me."

"Let me guess, I'm the distraction." She said dryly

“… yes sir…” Elizabeth said annoyedly.

"You Little-" she growled and stomped her foot. "If they get in trouble we help them" Alex said turning to the girls

“Definitely not,” he said. He moved forward, getting ready to fight. “We need someone with a bow, it would make it easier,”

"I'm not very good with one." She said, keeping her eyes on the lion.

Kaden slowly went to the others side, his sword up. "Me neither."

“That’s okay, we’ll be fine,” he said. “It keeps turning around, so wait until it turns back, then we’ll charge,”

“Chocolate?” Elizabeth offered to Tealle and Alex.

Alex stood glaring daggers at Kaden. "yes please" she said to Elizabeth

The lion began to turn its head back in there direction. “Now,” Ryker said, running towards it.

Phoebe made a whimpering sound. "If my clothes get ruined, your buying me new ones." She told him.

Kaden rolled his eyes. He raised his sword and charged forward.

"they are going to get themselves killed" Alex muttered

“Here.” Elizabeth said, breaking off a square of the chocolate.

He missed the mouth by an inch, and instead his sword glazed off the fur of the lion’s neck. It roared, and Ryker fell back. “Not happening,” he said to Phoebe.

"thanks" Alex said taking a square and nibbling on it

“‘Don’t cause a scene.’ Phoebe said, well here we are.” Elizabeth murmured.

"Yup"

The lion didn’t take its eyes off them again. Ryker sighed. “We need it to roar,” he said.

She scowled. "Yes happening." She took a few steps back. "How the hell are we supposed to kill this thing? Can't we just…run away?"

"And how would you suggest that?" Kaden asked.

“You stab it in the mouth,” Ryker said bluntly. “And we’re not running away,” He moved closer to the lion.

"We should get some more food. disgusting or spicy food to 'feed' to the lion" Alex said

Tealle hadn't been paying attention, but snapped back to reality when she saw her friends in a fighting stance, "Hey, what's happening?" she asked Liz.
