Virgil snapped around, barely catching the pistol. He looked down at his hand, there was already a welt forming from the brunt of it. "No thank you." He hissed quietly, wrapping his hands in demonic magic. He flinched as magic stung the small welt but shrugged it off, his safety was priority.

"Whoopty doo, you guessed it. I knew I should've stayed home but noooo, I just had to come here." He muttered the last part under his breath.

Orion gave a low growl at the demon, his teeth bared. Corbin still had the gun leveled at the demon. “What brought you here, hm?” He asked in a rough tone, one he would use in the Navy when telling civilians to move or directing insurgents.

"School." He said, motioning for Kingston to stay in place. Scratch my safety being priority, Kingston's safety is first. He thought, scrunching his nose. "I can't just make a living prying off human fear, unlike most demons, I actually want to have a career."

Deleted user

"Yeah, I know. Do you know how hard it is to get a forensics job in this city?" He asks angrily, he shot a glare towards the man. As long as he doesn't hurt Kingston, I don't attack.

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin knew well how hard it was to get any job, but that was besides the point. He kept the gun level. “You won’t find anything like that for your kind here. The only thing you’re good for is to be sold to serve in someone’s home,” he snapped.

Deleted user

"No thanks, homes are loud and loud is bad so… No." He says. "Plus, why in the name of the stars couldn't I get a job here? Sure I'm a demon, but I don't agree with most of their ways. But there is one demon teaching that is actually good… Families sticking together, it seems you humans don't."

Deleted user

"Well, you thought I was a human before." Virgil pointed out, smirking. Okay, maybe he enjoyed messing with people a bit. Not everyone's perfect.

@Desvelarse pets

“Because I hadn’t noticed your tattoos,” Corbin responded. His trigger finger twitched. “Now come on, before I put a bullet in your brain,” he snapped.

Virgil tilted his head. "And where would I be going if I came with you?" He asked with a slight smirk, Kingston disappearing in a poof of darkness.

Deleted user

Virgil shrugged. "Okay." He said nonchalantly. He technically wasn't able to be killed as he reincarnated from human nightmares when his physical form was killed, but it was only his type of demon and this was a rare ability so, it was likely the hunter didn't know about it.

@Desvelarse pets

“Give me your hands,” Corbin instructed sharply. This felt all to real to dealing with insurgents over in Afghanistan. He supposed he should treat it like that as well.

Deleted user

"Sure." He said again, reaching out his hands. "How long is this going to take? I have a shift at a cafe at four tomorrow." Virgil may not seem it, but he actually was worried for his job.

@Desvelarse pets

“Oh, it’s going to be a while,” Corbin said. He grabbed the demon quite roughly by its wrists and turned it around in the same rough manner. He pulled out what appeared to be a set of thick looking cuffs, which he put on the demon’s wrists.

Deleted user

"Well, damn. Do you think I could call in quickly to say I won't be there?" He asked, pretty polite for being cuffed like a prisoner of war. "Anyhow, I'm Virgil. I would say it was nice to meet you, but that has yet to be decided."

@Desvelarse pets

“No, you can’t,” Corbin said with a shake of his head. He wouldn’t tell the demon, Virgil, what his name was. “Come on, get moving,” he said sharply, holding onto the other as he gave him a shove.

Deleted user

Virgil raised his eyebrows. "Fine, let's go… Corbin." He said smirking, you can tell a lot about people from their fears.

Sorry it's short…//

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin’s jaw clenched at the sound of his name. How the hell could the demon know that about him? He chose not to say anything in response, whistling for Orion to follow as he gave Virgil another shove, beginning to walk.

Deleted user

"Rude, but okay," Virgil mutters, following the man. "You didn't need to shove me, I would've walked." He shrugged, walking.

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin didn’t respond to that. He walked with Virgil, eventually reaching a small, one story home. He dug keys from his pocket, opening the door and pulling the demon inside.

Deleted user

Virgil looked around the home, it was actually a bit like Virgil's home in size. "Nice house, it;s homey." He muttered towards the man.

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin didn’t respond, again. He walked over to a door and opened it. There was a set of stairs going down, and he began to take Virgil down them.

As soon as they walked into the dark stairway, Virgil's demonic eyes adjusted as he managed to unlock the restraints. I hope he doesn't mind, the handcuffs were just a bit uncomfortable.

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin didn’t notice the cuffs unlocked. Once he got Virgil to the floor, he sat the other down firmly in a chair, and then noticed that the cuffs were unlocked. He gave a scoff, and took them off before cuffing his hands to each side of the chair, along with his ankles to tow different chair legs.

Deleted user

"Rude, anyhow! How are you Corbin, you seem stressed." Virgil said, somehow managing to put his hands together in front of his face.

@Desvelarse pets

Corbin shook his head. Soon, he had picked up what appeared to be a collar, and put it around Virgil’s neck. “You know what this is?” He asked, picking up a remote and holding it up.
