“I’m glad we’re finally going on a date,” Kasey said, a hint of laughter in her voice as she turned to face Liam. “This is nice.”

Liam smiled softly at her, his eyes full of love and happiness as he nodded, "It is. We'll do it more often, I promise."

Kasey grinned and looked into his eyes. Gosh, she could get lost in them so easily… With a blush, she realized she was staring, and she blinked and looked down.

Liam chuckled and shook his head a little, "God you're adorable~"

Kasey’s blush deepened, though she grinned. “Am not…”

"Are too, and don't fight me on this because you won't win." Liam replied, grinning.

Kasey looked up at him and stuck her tongue out playfully. “Fine, fine. But if I’m adorable, then you’re… handsome.”

Liam was about to protest but knew he wouldn't get anywhere, "Why thank-you."

Kasey grinned. “It’s only the truth.”

Liam was about to say something else when the chips arrived, "Thanks!"

The chips were covered in melted cheese and fried onion could be found on the bowl, too, "These are the best."

“Oh… Those look good,” Kasey hummed, reaching over to grab one and popping it in her mouth.

Liam hummed his agreement as he placed some in his mouth, "Taste good too."

Kasey hummed her agreement and nodded. “Mm, yeah…”

"The burgers are also great." Liam stuffed some more chips into his mouth.

“Well, unfortunately, we have to wait for them,” Kasey chuckled, eating a few chips.

Liam pouted a little, "I don't wanna wait." He whined.

“Hey, that’s not my fault! I’m not the one cooking,” Kasey laughed lightly.

Liam sighed but smiled, "Suppose you're right," He ate a few more chips.

Kasey chuckled and continued eating as well. “I’m sure they’ll be out soon.”

Almost on cue, two burgers came out and were placed in front of them, "Yay! Thanks."

The burgers, had the meat, cheese, tomato, onion, bacon and a hash brown and Liam cut it in half before taking a bite.

Kasey grinned and just picked the whole thing up in both hands before she took a bite. She hummed in satisfaction as she chewed.

Liam grinned at her and rolled his eyes slightly as he took another few bites.

“It’s good,” she mumbled around another mouthful.

Liam hummed his agreement, “Yup, told you.”

Kasey swallowed and stuck her tongue out. “I know you did. I was just confirming,” she teased.

Liam chuckled with a small shake of his head as he continued eating, “You’re adorable,”

“No m’not,” Kasey mumbled as she took another bite.

"Yes you are." Liam grinned.

Kasey’s cheeks were bright red as she stared down at her burger, a light smile pulling at the corners of her lips.
