Elizabeth got in. She blushed from embarrassment, but when Tealle said that. Her confidence recovered and she smiled at Tealle.

Ryker jumped into shotgun. He was still thinking about his dream, and his dad. You went too far… he remembered. He shook them away and buckled himself up. "Alright, let's get moving,"

She buckled up and put the car in drive. "Where are we going next?" She asked him.

Kaden raised an eyebrow but said nothing. He leaned back against the seat and closed his eyes.

Ryker looked at the map. "Quebec's the closest city North," he said.

Elizabeth sat back and got lost in thought.

She nodded and started to drive. When she got on the highway she took one hand off and put her palm up, in silent demand for him to hold it.

"Hey, Liz," Tealle whispered, "do you know anything about dreams?"

“Mhmm. What about dreams?” Elizabeth whispered back.

Ryker rolled his eyes and took her hand. "Happy?" he questioned, smiling.

She grinned. "Mhm." She said. "You know, the sooner you give into my charms, the sooner the real fun will begin."

"Well, I had a weird one last night and wanted to know if you knew anything about it," Tealle said to Liz.

“Weird dreams?” Elizabeth said, remembering her dream, “I also had one.”

Ryker heard something about dreams and stiffened. They had them too? he thought.

"Well, I was fighting these, things, I don't know what they were, and we were all surrounded. Then, one of them jumped at me, then darkness. I woke up in a cold sweat," Tealle shuddered at the memory, "What was yours about?"

Kaden was listening into the girls' conversation. He stiffened.

“Darkness. So dark that even the stars couldn’t shine through.” Elizabeth recalled.

"Really? What a coincidence, our dreams were really similar."

“Huh. How absurd.”
