Scarlet’s eyelids flew open as soon as unfamiliar voices hit her ears, but her rigid posture soon relaxed when she took in her surroundings and remembered the proceedings of the past night. We got out., she remembered with exhilaration, pushing herself up and wincing when the gash in her arm bumped into the side of the couch.
Nykidia looked over at Scarlet. "Morning sunshine. Get up and grab your stuff. We're going to head to my place for you to dye your hair."
Scarlet nodded, blinking the gunk our of her eyes. “Where’s your washroom?”
"We're going to be leaving quietly. So unless you have to use the restroom than we won't have time for that." Nykidia said "Plus it's raining still. That'll wash you off."
“I just need to pee.” Scarlet got up, stretching her back.
"Well go quickly. We should head out as soon as possible. Cade's coming to." Nykidia said as she riffled through her bag, looking for something.
"I'm also coming." Virgil said from the doorway, he had snuck out to hunt early in the morning and had just rearived.
Scarlet slipped into the washroom (before Virgil arrived), and was out in under a minute.
"That's fine. I was planning on going out and finding you before we left. Let's go." She said walking out the door.
Scarlet followed, pulling her hood over her head to hide her blatantly red hair.
Nykidia adjusted her hat as she went out the door. She took a puff ball out of her bag and shook it. It began to float and glow a emerald green color. It light the way just a bit more than it already was.
"Careful with that," Scarlet warned, "Someone could see it through the trees."
Phoebe had already been awake, settled on a branch outside. She was whittling at a small stick quietly, and looked up when people came outside. “Especially with that bright a color,” she grumbled.
"What even is that?" Cade asked, tempted to reach out and grab the puff ball.
"Kill it?" Virgil questioned from behind them, he was a bit slow from his leg but still kept up to about the pace they were at.
"If someone come to close it will get scared and hide. It's only comfortable with the people it is first introduced with when I shake it." Nykidia said as the poof nuzzled her and procedied to do that to Cade, Virgil and Scarlet.
"It's disgustingly adorable." Cade commented as the puff ball nuzzled him.
Nykidia chuckled at this. "They live by the house we built." She says. "For some reason they like to be shook. They like to hide in our bags."
Scarlet flinched away from the tiny thing at first, warming up to it quickly and beginning to stroke it gently. "It's cute. Does she/he have a name?"
"They all seem to respond to 'pof' but some will respond better to other names thought it's hard to get a name right." Nykidia said. "We'll be to my house soon."
"That's cute," Scarlet smiled, giving the 'pof' one last scratch before glancing at Nykidia.
"We're here!" Nykidia said pointing at her house. It had a variety of colors but it was mostly purples, greens and reds. The house had almost a warped look to it. Where weren't that many windows but there were at least 6 doors.
Cade looked back and forth between Nykidia and her house. "You know what, I can't even judge you. I literally live in a shoe."
"I don't think any of us can judge, I used to live in a demonic pocket dimension." Virgil says, looking over the house, can it even be called that?
Nykidia walked up to the main door and opened it. "Hey Dad! I'm home! And I've brought some friends." She said walking in.

I’m going to pretend that Chelsea was quietly following them.
Which is very un-Chelsea like, but-)
“What happens if you use another door?” Chelsea asked, “Where do the other doors lead? What if one of them leads you to the back of the Queen’s castle or something??”
Scarlet followed tentatively, electing to stay silent. A part of her couldn’t wait to see the Hatter and Hattress, the other was nervous.
The Hatter popped his head out of the next room. "Friends?" He said, his red hair bouncing up and down. "Yep!" Nykidia said smiling.
Scarlet stared at the local legend standing in front of her for a few seconds, before swallowing and stepping forwards. “Hi, sir. I’m- I’m Scarlet.”
The Hatter stumbled over some hats making his way to the front door. He was very tall. Almost 6'4. "Hello there Scarlet. Pleased to meet you." He said bowing. "I am the Mad Hatter." "Dad. This is Scarlet, daughter of the queen of hearts, Cade, and Cheslea." Nykidia said pointing at them "And Phoebe tagged along as well."
