Milo smiled, “not bad eh? This used to be the Beta den, then someone broke the wall… my mom fixed it up, and then she kept me and my sister here.”

Theresa nodded "It's really nice, I like it!" she turned into her human form and sat on the grass, smiling at Milo.

Milo calmly turned back into his human form. He sat down next to her. “You know…” Milo picked up a flower. “This flower is beautiful just like you… I mean um… your pretty…” (ah yes, the awkward Milo.)

Theresa blushed "Thanks Milo…" she looked at him and smiled happily.

Milo nervously curled up into a ball, laying on the grass.

Milo smiled, “good night Theresa.”

Theresa laid down on the grass by Milo and smiled "Good night Milo.."

Eve had waited outside of the training den until Grayson was finished training with the Gammas. Standing in her human form, she leaned against the den wall. All she wanted was to share a few words with him, that's all. And by the moon's power, she would do just that.

Rocky tumbled off his bed and snuck over to Miki. “Miki. Wake up.”
Miki’s eyes opened. “Huh? What’s wrong Rocky?”
“Where did Milo and Theresa go?”
Miki’s eyes dilated, she began to grow nervous. “They are probably somewhere together. Now go back to sleep.”
Rocky smiled, “good night Miki!” He went over and climbed back onto his cot.
Miki started to have bad thoughts. Oh man…. what if they already left together? He didn’t even tell me anything… Miki shrugged then went back to sleep.

Theresa had fallen asleep quickly, she was laying on the grass sleeping peacefully.

Grayson had finished training with the gammas. He felt the adrenaline coursing through his viens. He took off his shirt and started running in the field howling and yelling. He didn't care if anyone saw he just needed to be free for once. He layer in the cool grass and thought of his friends, his pack and his sister, praying she was alright. And then of eve, that beautiful, kind, smart wolf that would never be his

Evelyn watched as Grayson left. Sighing, she changed form, and followed after him. His scent flew on the wind and she felt she could have followed him with her eyes closed. She came upon the grass clearing he laid in and approached slowly. "Grayson…" She whispered.

Grayson sat up and twisted around to look at eve "yes? Is everything alright?" He said with the tenderness and love he always spoke with when talking to eve or the pups

She briefly switched forms once more behind a tree before approaching him. She sat beside him and tucked a strand of golden hair behind her ears. "Yeah… I- I just wanted to talk…" Her green eyes trailed up to his.

Gray turned to face her, "of course, anything in particular?" He didn't care what she had to talk about, just as long as she was there beside him, her scent once again surrounded him, intoxicating him. Grayson could stay there for days.

Her heart beat loudly in her chest as she swallowed. "Grayson… I…." Just do it Eve! You've got his full attention… "I want to talk about us…"

Grayson looked in her eyes, he could feel her heart beat quicken and his doing the same. " Us? Is there something wrong between us?"

"No!" She replied hastily. "Wait- Well maybe…." She sighed. "Yes… A lot is wrong between us…"

A sense of dread was washing over Gray, he was losing her, and he didn't know why or how "so what's wrong with us? Are we not friends anymore? We can try to fix it? Can't we?"

Eve gave a small smile. "No…No..no…That is the issue, but not from the angle you think." She took his hand into hers. "For a while, you have displayed your feelings for me. Coming to the den to check on me and the pups, bringing food and gifts, looking out for me whenever and where ever I go…. Ans I've done nothing to a dress your actions. In fact…" Eve hung her head, rubbing her thumb along the back of his hand. "I've only caused you further doubt. You think I am in love with Milo. And though he is a very wonderful male, I am not." She brought his hand to her lips and pressee a soft kiss to it. "Grayson…I love you. I have for a long time…"

Grayson pried his hands from hers, and pulled her into him " you have no idea how long I've been waiting to say those exact words to you….way to steal the spotlight eve." He laughed in her hair. Tilting her head back so he could look in her eyes " you have always had my heart eve, from the moment I saw you when we were pups I knew you were mine, and yes I know that sounds selfish but I'd don't care, you are mine to love, to hold, to cherish. And I will not let you be taken away from me" Gray slowly started leaning back, urging eve to lay on top of him, to feel his heartbeat and breaths. He started to stroke her hair "eve….I love you"

Eve couldn't stop the tears that filled her eyes. She smiled as he pulled her on top of him, laying her head on his chest. She took his scent in and laughed. "I don't find it selfish at all…. I like it…" She said..

They layed there for a while, content in each other's arms. " So how are the pups? Will they be able to handle the winter?" Gray said quietly not wanting to disturb the moment, but forever the alpha worrying about his pack "and what about Miki? How's she doing?"

Eve giggled softly. "Milo will be fine, my Alpha. And the pups are great! Now that I have those herbs you brought me from Saskia, the pups will brave the winter and then some. The hard part will be getting them to eat it." She laughed, making lazy circles on Grayson's skin with her index finger.

Grayson growled softly in content " good to hear, if you want them to eat the herbs, mix it into a pulp with those berries they like to snack on. They won't even notice it's there." Grayson laughed " mom used to do that with me and saskia, saskia knew the trick so to convince mom that she ate them, she always used to hide them behind the den and wait until mom left to hunt to bury them. It wasn't until the berry seeds started to grow that mom found out what she was doing." Grayson trailed his fingers against Eve's upper spine and started to hum a tune.

Milo opened his eyes, he had a sudden feeling to go outside. He went out and he saw them, happy together. He didn’t know either to be happy for his best friend or cry his eyes out. Tears began to trickle down his face. H-He said he didn’t like her…. he lied to me! Milo’s teeth clamped together. He started running the opposite direction, still in his human form. He only cares about himself and the pack… he never cared about me…

Theresa continued to sleep, unaware that Milo had left.

Eve sighed into the touch. "Very smart. I'll give it a try-" she stopped, lifting her head as she spotted Milo running away. "Milo…" She whispered as guilt hit her hard.
